With the regular season now closed the match-ups for 2007 are set. While the schedule itself has not yet been announced, I have been able to determine out who the Giants will play in 2007.
Home: Dallas, Washington, Philadelphia, San Francisco, New York (Jets), New England, Green Bay and Minnesota.
Away: Dallas, Washington, Philadelphia, Miami, Buffalo, Detroit, Chicago and Atlanta.
I know it's a little early to look ahead to that, especially with the Giants being in the playoffs but all things considered this schedule is a lot easier than the Giants had this year. Obviously that is subject to change depending on the draft and free agency.
The one thing about this schedule is that I see the Giants have Detroit away. I can't help but wonder if that will be on Thanksgiving Day. I hope it is just so I enjoy the football a little bit more but wouldn't be overly disappointed if it was a weekend game. I also see the potential for six National games there, so Giants fans should expect quite a few night games.
