Get to Know Jennie Finch
Jennie Finch struck out 10 en route to a perfect game April 19 against Louisiana-Lafayette in a pre-Olympic exhibition tour. It's just the latest feat for Finch, who many consider the most famous softball player of all time.
Crystal LoGiudice, US Presswire
Finch had a 2-0 record in the 2004 Summer Olympics at Athens, Greece. She struck out 13 batters over eight innings in that tournament while only giving up one hit, leading the American team to the gold medal.
Dustin Snipes, Icon SMI/ZUMA Press
She appeared on the July 2005 cover of Sports Illustrated as part of the SI Summer Party edition, but turned down a lucrative contract to appear nude for Playboy, saying that she would "rather be a role model for young girls."
Sports Illustrated
Finch has also made a few reality TV performances, appearing in an episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County and as a contestant on the new celebrity edition of The Apprentice.
Tommy Baynard, NBC
Finch lasted until the fourth episode of Celebrity Apprentice, competing against other stars like country singer Trace Adkins, but she was fired in the fourth episode on January 24.

Finch has made her presence felt in the big leagues, participating on the Legends Team at the 2005 Legends/Celebrity Game as part of the All-Star festivities at Comerica Park.

Finch regularly hosts TV segments for "This Week In Baseball" where she's seen pitching to major league baseball players, throwing from the same distance she would in a softball game.
Christian Petersen, Getty Images
Finch defeated Anna Kournikova in an ESPN online poll in 2003 as the most attractive female athlete. Like Kournikova, she has modeled swimwear for the SI Swimsuit Edition in 2005-06.
Albert L. Ortega, WireImage.com
Along with teammate Lisa Fernandez, left, Finch received an award for Best Female Olympic Performance at the 13th Annual ESPY Awards in 2005.

At the 2002 ESPY Awards, Finch was considered the "best dressed" at the show. She wore a black and rhinestone evening gown she helped design, which upstaged the likes of Vivica A. Fox and supermodel Carol Alt.

No discussion of attractive Olympians could be complete -- or perhaps even started -- without adequate mention of Team USA pitcher Jennie Finch. The former Arizona great (her number 27 was retired there in 2003) posted a 2-0 record and allowed only one hit in 13 innings during the U.S.'s gold medal run in Athens in 2004, and she'll look to duplicate that success in Beijing.
The rest you probably know: an appearance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, her marriage to Twins pitcher Casey Daigle, a son named Ace born in 2006, TV appearances on Pros vs Joes and the celebrity edition of The Apprentice (she got fired), and regular on-camera work for ESPN.
But is she attractive? Well, yes. Definitively so. But that won't stop us from encouraging you to vote in our poll after the jump, where pleasant things like photos of her in evening wear reside. Thanks, Getty Images!

Matt-
When you were younger and dreamed of writing, perhaps even writing something profound, I wonder how high chronicler of attractive olympians was on the list. No doubt you'll also include male athlete here because you would not want to be accused of seeing women only as objects, especially women who have achieved far more in their field than you have in yours. But I'll say this: You deserve a gold medal for unoriginal frat boy humor.

I once had the displeasure of meeting Jenny Finch. She is cocky, egotistical, and down right unfriendly. She is a poor role model to today's girls. Beside--Virginia Tech's Angela Tincher beat Ms. Finch this year. Ms. Tincher is the one who should be on the Olympic team, not Ms. Finch!!

SERIOUSLY...does anybody care about the olympics? They are in China, a country that poisons our children and pets, and kills baby girls because they aren't boys. Enough said!

Jennie is a great softball pitcher and is pretty on top of it. If she is cocky, she damn well earned it. I think she deserves credit for not exposing herself in playboy. I think some people are just jealous of her status.

I am so proud of her for turning down playboy, they are always trying to get some woman to take their clothes off.
Jenny proved that she is a woman of integrity and little girls can say I am important, smart and beautiful, with my clothes on.
Hooray for Jenny.

Nice...! You label her a MILF. Yeah, we know what that is, but highly inappropriate here for this article! Learn to be "discriminate" or have you also been "PC-ized" as far as the REAL definition of
that word goes? I'm no prude, but then again you folks seem to have few manners.

If you just show pictures of Jennie Finch without any references to olympian or softball pitcher, obviously she is attractive! However, I can go to the local mall any day of the week, and see women who are as, or more attractive than her.

I don't understand the facination with Jenny Finch. I guess she's cute for a bigger chick; I mean she's 6'1 or taller and probably pushing around 180 lbs. She's like a philly......now that gymnast, she was cute. Like I've said before, there's a reason why a guy like T.O. (6'3, 218) likes Finch.

Jenny is flat chested like a plank and has ugly feet. How does that rate the word "hot" in anyone's book? Why does America need to make everyone a tabloid issue? We need another disaster to shake us back into reality.

Really, she's not that hot and does anyone other than the parents and families care about women sports? I don't want to sound sexist but it's true and we all know it. We don't watch it and hopefully the networks will figure it out . The level of competition is alot less than the men's . I'm tired of hearing about women's sports......NO ONE CARES!!!

I just cannot believe the negativity and ignorance of the comments by some of these Americans, (NOT). No matter where the Olympics are, the U.S.A. deserves to be there backed up, an honored as we should be to be an American.
These athletes that have worked so hard towards their goals, and want to represent us, should so have the honor to do so. We as Americans should support them and our Country with pride and dignity. I feel lucky to be one and shame on the people that are not. Just having such talented athletes, whose dreams are coming true for them, makes me feel elated for them. They all have my vote!
