Knicks fans wanted a PG tonight, and they certainly didn't want Danilo Gallinari, booing him vigorously every time his name was mentioned. The chants for O.J Mayo were loud and often to begin the night but after he was selected #3 overall by Minnesota and Westbrook at #4 by Seattle, the Knicks fans inside the MSG theater settled on Jerryd Bayless as their object of desire. When the Knicks went on the clock at #6 overall, the crowd was strongly pulling for Bayless to be the pick. As you can see in this video ... their prayers weren't answered, and they reacted just as you would expect Knicks fans to react.

The NY fans are not racists they are misguided and misinformed;
The best team the knicks ever had (2 rings the only ones) from 69 to 73 had a roster of 60/40 with white and black players alike;
Dave Debuschere,Jerry Lucas ,Bill Bradley,Phil Jackson,Walt Frazier,Willis Reed,Earl Monroe,plus,plus and the coach Red Holzman;
This team was the foundation of that chant Defense,defense,defense because they did not have a 7,0 Ft. in the roster and they played in the finals against teams that had like the Lakers;
The NY fans are very easy mark for propaganda coming from the media ;
Like it happened with Curry and Randolph
2 black players that never were all that;

they would have the nerve to 'boo' a foreign, BASKETBALL player, barely knows how to speak english, first time in the US, promises to work hard for the knicks, and they continue to boo him, including screaming "usa" at him. they would of boo'd anyone, anyway.
F*** knick fans. just a bunch of drunk people who live in their moms house misguided about their 'team'. in the meanwhile...KEEP LOSING AND ENJOY THE BOTTOM OF THE STANDINGS !!

The NY fans really wanted a player from the Islands ala Duncan or Ewing or better yet from Israel or Africa (ala Hakeem, executioner of the knicks at one time) ;
The NY fans are mixunderstood, for sure.
