Considering this is the same outlet that's bringing us exclusive updates on Verne Troyer's leading man aspirations and the middle sister from Full House's weight loss, they're obviously qualified to talk baseball. So what are they saying? Amid rumors that her marriage to hubby Guy Ritchie is on the rocks, OK! has learned that the Material Girl has been spending a lot of time with the married A-Rod, finding solace in the handsome third baseman as her marriage to the british director fizzles.Wait a minute -- this duo has been seen together three times in eight months? Oh yeah, that's definitely suspect. I mean, it's not like New York's uber-wealthy travel in the same social circles or anything -- there has to be something fishy going on. And in plain sight! Shame on the dozen or so New York dailies for missing the boat, and kudos to this third-rate gossip rag for reminding us what true journalism really looks like. (Wow! I made it through the entire post without making a cheap "well, A-Rod does like them buff!" joke-- wait, nevermind.)
One thing this pair has in common is their love of a good workout! Last October, Madonna and A-Rod were spotted working up a sweat at Reebok Sports Club NY in Manhattan. Months later, the sports hero attended the singer's charity Raising Malawi, where Madonna reportedly introduced him to her unimpressed 11-year old daughter Lourdes.
Then, in May, A-Rod attended the singer's show at NYC's Roseland Ballroom, and partied with her afterwards at The Box nightclub until early morning.
