The United Football League kicks off its inaugural season Thursday night, and you can watch the UFL live right here on FanHouse. Thursday's opener features the California Redwoods traveling to Las Vegas to take on the Locomotives at Sam Boyd Stadium, home of UNLV. Kickoff is at 9 PM ET. Las Vegas is led by one of the new league's most recognizable names: J.P. Losman, the former Buffalo Bills quarterback. Losman's main competition at QB is another ex-NFL player, Tim Rattay. California's roster also boasts a few players with NFL experience, including defensive end Jason Parker, quarterback Mike McMahon and wide receiver B.J. Sams.

OMG the Unies so bad it's hard to watch. And their so similar it's hard to tell who's who. And who are these guys? CFL rejects? Arena league left overs? Big time crash & burn, who has money to throw away on somehting like this? The Husker/Mizzu game might be a snoozer but at least it real football and it beats this crap

Just got home from the game (Vegas vs Cali) and it was tough to watch (for the most part). The worst part (stated above), is that everyone looks the same...I cheered for the wrong team quite a few times. 9 out of 10 plays are for 3 or 4 yards, so it's not that "exciting" to watch. I'm glad Las Vegas "Locos" (worst name ever) won, but without enough booze, I can't promise that I'd be back right away. It's something to do, but not exciting enough to deal with all of the traffic.

I totally agree with comment #1...What's up with the pastel colors...Pastels and football should not be mentioned in the same sentence or seen around a football field, because it gives the teams a look of being really generic to say the least.
