Austin Peay holds off Eastern Kentucky 24-20

CLARKESVILLE, Tenn. -Terrance Holt rushed for 176 yards and two touchdowns, and Austin Peay held off Eastern Kentucky 24-20 on Saturday night.
The Governors (3-4, 2-2 Ohio Valley Conference) snapped a 22-game losing streak against the Colonels.
Holt's 12-yard touchdown run in the third quarter gave the Governors a 21-20 lead. The Governors rushed for 263 yards against a Colonels' defense that was allowing only 73 yards rushing per game.
The Colonels (4-3, 4-2) had a chance to regain the lead in the fourth but quarterback T.J. Pryor fumbled after being sacked at the Governors 27-yard line. Pryor went 26-for-40 for 265 yards and an interception. He also scored on runs on 1 and 15 yards. His 1-yard run at the end of the first half gave the Colonels a 20-14 lead.
The Governors led 14-0 in the first quarter on a 45-yard pass from Jake Ryan to Adrian Hines and an 80-yard run by Holt.
