LONDON -England fans will only be able to watch Saturday's World Cup qualifier in Ukraine on the Internet because TV networks wouldn't pay for the broadcast rights.
England is already guaranteed a place in South Africa next year, which means interest back home has taken away the game's importance as far as TV companies are concerned.
Coverage will only be available at a cost on the Internet in Britain, with certain British newspaper Web sites taking the pay-per-view feed.
Odeon cinemas will also air the match, but commercial outlets such as pubs and restaurants won't be able to show it.
Former England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson will provide expert analysis for the transmission.
