Fed Cup: France to host United States on clay

PARIS -The United States will play the first round of the Fed Cup in France on clay.
The French tennis federation said Friday in a statement that the best-of-five series scheduled Feb. 6-7 will be played on indoor clay in the Northern city of Lievin.
The Americans will play the Fed Cup final in Italy in November.
