TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -A judge has given the NCAA until 2 p.m. Wednesday to release its original documents on academic cheating at Florida State.
Friday's decision by Circuit Judge John Cooper gives the athletics organization more time to seek an order from the Florida Supreme Court to block the release.
The Associated Press and other media had sought immediate release following an appellate decision confirming the records are public.
Florida State already has released copies made from "screen shots" of the documents posted on a secure, read-only Web site, but the media organizations still are seeking originals from the NCAA.

This whole issue of making an appeal for the sake of Bobby's win/lose record is a black eye for FSU as a institution . The president or whoevers in charge of this decision should be ashamed of even going forward with this request. What about every other college head coach who was penalized in the past because of improprieties commited by students , assistent coaches or whoever.
I think FSU will go to any length to see Bobby become the all time winningest coach.

I have great respect for Bobby B. and the 'noles, as well as Joe Pa and the PSU gang. Basing an appeal on coach Bobby Bowden losing 14 wins ruining any chance he has of catching Paterno for the all-time wins record....REALLY? REALLY? Is that what matters here?
If you don't want to surrender the 14 wins, don't use ineligible players.
FSU is a big time program. These things don't happen by accident.
