Hershey Bears win AHL's Calder Cup

WINNIPEG, Manitoba -Andrew Gordon, Chris Bourque and Alexendre Giroux scored first-period goals and the Hershey Bears won their 10th American Hockey League title with a 4-1 victory over the Manitoba Moose on Friday night.
The Bears, the Washington Capitals' top affiliate, won the Calder Cup finals 4-2.
Rookie goalie Michal Neuvirth, selected the playoff MVP, made 24 saves, allowing only Mario Bliznak's goal second-period goal.
Keith Aucoin completed the scoring for Hershey with an empty-net goal.
Manitoba is Vancouver's top farm team.
