u r NUTS he did just what he did Keep him, because he knew,no one but you beleives he'd let Rose go, he could not have wonthose games without him,so he was not worthless To Memphis
I wish they would, it would be the right thing to do.or sanctions should follow the coach who viaolated ncaa rules
No way ,his college grades don't mean a thing to NBA teams,You best believe. Its not like is abused, girlfriends.stole, took drugs. or anything serious,to effect NBA code of conduct
The N.C.A.A is a joke, any Coach who screwed a program, can leave scott free, and no sanctions are imposedon him ,but the school, and kids have to suffer, sanctions should follw the coach, and school, that hires the bum, do you think it a accident he is out the country
J Whiz. I am about to fall out of my chair laughing at your comment. You mean to tell me that if Calipari had know about all this, he would have kicked Rose off the team? ROTFLMAO. Idiot. Calipari did know about all of this and he didnt care then or care now. That is the kind of person he is. He just wants to win at all costs. I am sure someone bought a kid a car in this upcoming recruiting class he has coming to Kentucky and he knows about that too. Do you think he cares. Of course not, as long as he keeps getting away with it, he is going to keep doing it, and he isnt the only one doing it.
can the ncaa prevent a school from hiring calipari??
Obviously, I have missed something. The kid is in HIGH SCHOOL when he takes the SAT. The NCAA Clearinghouse has to approve his eligibility. Why would Memphis, or any college, be investigated about something that when on prior to his admission to the college? And why is the NCAA not at fault?
To paraphrase Sean Connery's character in "the Untouchables" - "this stinks like a whorehouse at low tide".
Anyone honest associated with the program should be embarrassed and that's probably the vast majority of people.
Now, he's Kentucky's problem.
And if the Chicago Bulls had found out about it before the draft, they would have thumbed their nose at Rose.
If John Calipari had known about this, he would have kicked Derrick Rose's worthless ass of the team, and then the school would have expelled him. Reread the article. Your argument has no merit.
So is your post, "genius".
So is your post.
Go to Hell, you B@$+@RD!!!
The "players" are "handled" from such a young age. Then they make millions and can't handle it.......... and we should be surprised?

Wow the NCAA is FOUL, don't sign TV contracts, don't sell sports jerseys with players names and numbers, don't have March Madness, this is sad the unregulated trying to regulate! College sports is just the minor leagues anyway for basketball and football is no better with it's TV and Bowl bid deals Pay the kids and put them on a limited business program of sports management at least they will be able to read their contracts!
Why do we insist that some of these kids go to college??? Okay, you have to go to college even though you know you're a top 10 pick. How many kids get out of HS knowing they have a 10-40million dollar job waiting for them. I am all for school...but get real...these kids earned their way to the promise land...they should not be forced to go to college when their intentions are one and done. The system doesn't work...and while I hate to see kids throw away paid tuition it's crazy to think that anyone would pass up an opportunity for a multi million dollar career....what about Golf???Tennis??? Kids go into these sports without anyone blinking...why is basketball any different? Kids who have earned their way should be allowed to benifit from their hard work!
This why is call, LACK OF EDUCATION.
Rich get richer without any oversight. Take away scholarships and see how he does. $ works every time
If Memphis is penalized and they have to forfeit wins and accolades, I hope they also take the wins and accolades away from Calipari's career wins and accomplishments. This is probably why he left Memphis to begin with. He shouldnt get off scott free.
