Rhode Island beat Fordham 41-28

KINGSTON, R.I. -Quarterback Chris Paul-Etienne scored three touchdowns and had 245 yards of total offense to lead Rhode Island to a 41-28 win over Fordham on Saturday.
It was the Rams' first win over Fordham since 2005.
Rhode Island (1-0) raced to a 34-0 lead and held a 34-7 advantage at halftime. Paul-Etienne, a junior playing in his first game since transferring from Rutgers, threw two touchdowns to tight end David Wilson.
Paul-Etienne also scored on a 29-yard run in the second quarter. He led the Rams with 86 yards rushing and completed 13 of 19 passes for 164 yards.
John Skelton passed for 302 yards and a touchdown for Fordham (0-1). He also rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns.
