Make Dega a 1 3/4 mile or 2 mile track.........scrap the failed restrictor plate..........So far nothing Nascar has proposed has worked..........the race there sucks. I went there once............nice facility for sure..............the racing is horrific and has been since the first plate race..........the plate was introduced for making the racing safer...........What races have the Nascar brass been watching since the brilliance of the plate came in the rule book.................lettem race or change the track .............but either way the plate AIN'T the answer. The drivers and owners should now step up and boycott the Dega race until Nascar comes up with a better plan than the plate.................. All the plate races are 43 car IROC races. Hey Nascar? How's that worked out for ya? I stopped buying tickets 12 yrs ago and now only watch bits and pieces of about 1/3 of the schedule.................support your local short tracks fans............the racing is far better and you have much greater access to the drivers and cars without the pompous attitudes and bloated ticket prices and track gouging. Nascar hasn't done anything to fix the Dega mess...........maybe the drivers or fans can...............
