Glover Surprise Winner at US Open

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (June 22) - Lucas Glover has won the U.S. Open at Bethpage Black.

Getting only the second victory of his PGA Tour career, Glover finished a final round of 3-over 73 Monday afternoon to win by two strokes over Phil Mickelson, David Duval and Ricky Barnes.
Glover took the outright lead with his lone birdie of the day at the par-4 16th and held on, taking home $1.35 million for the victory. He was 4 under for the championship.
Defending champion Tiger Woods finished even par and in a tie for sixth, four shots behind Glover.

when my wife was told of her condition Imoney and fame was the last thing I thought about dont phil have enough millions to fall back on its always about the mega bucks a real class act was too bow out and show respect for his family and not the mega bucks GOD WORKS IN STRANGE WAYS Iam glad a nice guy like glover won and put the money men in thier place its good for the game more power to the Glover type no frills

Your seeing right in front of you downfall of Tiger Woods, If I golfed every two month's like Tiger I'd have problems in hitting the fairways also.......I know you don't need the $$$$$$$$ Tiger but your game is going belly-up.

Homey knows: It's Tiger and WHO? Same old situation: Tiger against the unknown field. If Tiger dosn't win, then it's someone out of the blue. Jack Nicklaus had to contend with Lee Trevino, Tom Watson, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player week after week. Where's the "Big 5" of today? Nowhere to be seen. Theere is only one great player today....Tiger Woods. (I guess its greatness when you beat Steve Stricker, Ernie Els, David Duvall, Sean O'Hair, Stewert Cink, Jeff Oglvie......and the like). It's Tiger, or the field. Homey out...................
