SOUTH BEND, Ind. -Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick says Charlie Weis will return with the football team after the Stanford game instead of staying on the West Coast to recruit.
Swarbrick made the comments Tuesday during a taping of his radio show for WLS Radio 890 in Chicago, which normally airs on Saturday. Weis had said Sunday he planned to stay on the West Coast recruiting, just as he had last year when he and Swarbrick met to discuss his future.
A message seeking comment was left for Swarbrick on his cell phone Tuesday evening by The Associated Press.
Swarbrick said on the show, as he has previously, that his discussion of Weis' future would follow a similar timetable to last year.

Coaches that win can stay, those who lose must go.
Easy decision for ad to make Charlie to go.
Bye bye

the fans and the admin are the problem at Notre Dame. Too much arrogance and coach after coach run out. You would think they would learn third or fourth time around!

Stop blaming the coach! Look at yourselves! You should be ashamed the way you have treated these men!

Of course, if you like mediocrity, keep firing coaches! What right minded kid would want to play there and deal with all the abuse?

He's a good coach and I am an Irish fan....but in all honesty I feel it's time to move on. There are better people who can build ND back to a top 5 team. Yes Weis makes the passing game great but with no running game and no hard nosed D to back it up, ....well 400 yards passing a game only looks good on paper, ******** worthless if they can't stop the other team from running the ball all day. GO IRISH!!!

Notre Dame is a class outfit. Expectations are always high.
They are close to regaining there football skills. But they may never win another championship...so what?

Charlie Weis and Notre dame are both at fault Notre Dame because after one year they thought they had Vince Lombardi and severely overpaid and Charlie because its well known he came in Very cocky. They deserve each other
