NRenzetti, did you read where the Semenya supposedly had a male organ inside her body? If this is so how did her parents "definitely trying to pull a fast one" If the reports are true it seems like no one knew of her supposed birth defects. I feel for her as a person, for her identity is known world wide. If one is a racist your colors will show. I am black and I do not care how others think about my race.

This article is an example of the politically correct ******** that has radically increased since Obama took office. Not once does it mention how unfair Semenya's opponents -- all 100% genetic women -- have had it every time they lost to a he/she. This wasn't even a case of correcting the problem by removing all male parts like German tennis player Sarah Gronert did. And God forbid anyone challenges Semenya's validity since she is black and no one wants to be called a racist! I don't think Semenya knew anything, but the parents were definitely trying to pull a fast one here!
This hermaphrodite condition is the answer for all gays and lesbians in this world. Lol. Kidding aside think about ******** like switching on and off. If you want to be man just switch to being man w/o the complication of having a surgery and vice versa. Peace (=^_^=)

The whole situation could have been approached better. I felt sad when I first heard how they were going to test this athlete and how public it was. Better discretion could have been used. The whole world knows more about her physical condition and everything open to the public and it scrutiny. I hope she has a good support system around her who can help her through this difficult time. She has not only found out about her physical condition, but that she will never be a natural mother and maybe never a wife.
