Break it down. 110 million is $2.1 million a week, or $300,000 per day.
That's a bit excessive no matter how good you are. Going to a ballpark
has been priced out of the average American's budget, and even watching sports on tv socks us with high cable bills. The best deserve
the most money in anything, but there should be limits. How can anybody
intelligently need $300,000 a day?????
tiger is a good human being,i'd rather see it go to him than these other pieces of ****
what no racist comments??? i guess a person with a lot of money is put high in your eyes and is above the racist comments or is it u feel u relate to him somehow, ........ devils!!!!!
Isn't it funny how you hear liberals complain about "rich republicans" yet the vast majority of these high paid actors, entertainers, atheletes are all nutty liberal democrats? Well maybe some aren't so nutty, just totally blind to reality. I'd love to see the ones that think Obama is so great to put their money where his mouth is, time to be patriotic, time to get in the game, time to pay your taxes, time to "spread your wealth" around. Ah ******** easy to say when it's someone elses money. These clowns could disappear tomorrow and i'd barely blink an eye.
why don't they put some of their money back into calif to get us out of the budget that we are in ?
I totally agree!! I wonder what would happen if all the teachers, police officers, firemen, etc... said they would not work until they can make the $$$ entertainers, sports players, etc... make. We have become a society of "entertain me" It makes me sick to my stomach!!!!
And it's only GOLF. Listen, Tiger MADE golf into what it is today. The oldies are only riding the Tiger wave. Tiger bought Golf to to 'Lunch Pail" crowd. The Average Joe. Now he's being WELL rewarded. When Tiger wasn't playing for eight months, the Golf ratings plunged. During his absence, the golging world really saw what Tiger meant to the game. Now they don't care rather Tiger win or not (they rather he would), just let him be in the field. One thing about Tiger, no matter what's your Race, for some strange reason Tiger Is that race. Go Tiger.

Yes, Tiger has a lot...a whole lot. Money, beautiful family and good health so far. But, he cannot just go out in public and not be hounded. He has to have body guards around him in public. I tell you one thing, I would hate to live my life like that. Just think, he cannot go to the movies or just to a restaurant to have a nice time with his wife or friends. People would be running up to him and bothering him. He may have all the money in the world, but, he has no privacy......NO THANKS......
WHY ? Have we sunk so low that we pay someone millions for playing a sport and only thousands for teaching our children or protecting our lives. I for one refuse to go to sporting events or buy the stuff these overpaid ******** endorse . I will buy a Kolbe, Michael or any other sports figure jersey made in some overseas sweatshop when they buy one of mine.
Your a damn fool if you keep spending your childrens grocery money to apease these false gods.
He sure is one lucky guy! Beautiful wife and children...free auto's as a
Buick spokesperson and a chef prepared meal 3X a day...a real dream life. But don't forget: To whom much is given, much is expected. Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, two of the richest men in the world are the finest examples of what role models among the wealthy should be. And T iger is a role model for the afro-american community, the sports community and for all the children who would like to grow up to be just like him. That's a heck of alot of responsibility. I hope he handles it well...
yes Winosixtyone, you get top of the line cash in chicago because you are a gal boy trick Im a man.
watch a circus instead
becks strips down to his underwear to make a buck ... and he makes less than rapist Kolbe ... jordan deserves his money but woods? Woods looks like an asian that sat on a bulls horn ... i have to turn the tv off when i see him because he is so UGLY.
Nice to see Tiger, Michael and Kobe on the list, but Beckham?
For all of those of you who are jealous, or upset or what have you just remember who pays the athletes salaries. You do!! Maybe not specifically you but us as the general population pay there salaries, without us watching and having Tiger Woods as a "Household name" Nike would never pay tiger what they do. I know I am going to hear well they should pay that money to there worker and you are right but they don't and there is nothing that we as normal average salried Americans can do about it. Enjoy your sports and quit being jealous.
c-i-r-*******-t- a-n-c-e-s......when did that become a bad word?
and I dont know why it edited the word "*************" out of my post
Hrackem.....where did the military thing come from? random. Since we're getting on that soapbox.....there are plenty of underpaid people in the country who are important to sustaining our freedoms -teachers, nurses, policemen, firemen etc and there are plenty of people who do not have limbs due to ************* beyond their control. At least the military gets 10% off at some restaurants, insurance rates and apartment complexs (at least where I live). If you show your military id, many times it will get you out of speeding tickets and being in the military gets you cheaper groceries then the rest of us. Anyone in the military knew going in that they could lose a limb.....(Thank God for our military and we would not be here without them, I am NOT hating on our veterans). You also know going into the military that your earning potential is not very high, but at least you get benefits....something many people in this free country do not have. If you're in the military and get hurt mowing your lawn, you get an ambulance ride, some people have to make the decision to pay for an ambulance or hope they don't die because they cant afford the trip to the hospital. These are the people who would need the "money athletes should spend ." Athletes who make $$$$$ worked their way up the pay scale to get there, and you can't get mad at them for being good businessmen as well as ballplayers (or drivers?). Many athletes are also large supporters of many charities, and I think its their prerogative to spend their money however they want. Good for them.
Athletes deserve every nickel they ********* not easy to get paid top dollar as an athlete. They have to compete with the best of the best and avoid serious injury. They sacrifice a lot of their personal life to make it. Some athletes play for the sheer joy of playing the game. There's nothing wrong with getting paid top dollar for providing the public with a view of what a true athlete can do. That's what people pay to see. The human ability to accomplish something a lot of people wish they could do.
