Kevin Mitchell, Oakland A's - The the 1989 National League MVP didn't stay out of headlines long after his retirement in 1998. In late 1999, Mitchell was arrested for allegedly assaulting his father during an argument over failed rent payments. The elder Mitchell, 56, and his wife were reportedly being evicted from a house they rented from Kevin and his grandmother.

Gary Payton, Milwaukee Bucks - They called him "The Glove" on the court, but Payton wound up wearing handcuffs off the court in 2003. The nine-time All-Star was arrested for allegedly beating up a male exotic dancer outside of a Toronto night club called 'For Your Eyes Only.' The case was dropped in 2007 when a judge declared he had reasonable doubt Payton escalated the verbal dispute with violence.

Jack Trudeau, Carolina Panthers - Trudeau, who enjoyed a 10-year career of NFL, surfaced in the police blotter in 2007 when he was arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Trudeau had hosted his daughter's high school graduation party where liquor was served to underage individuals.

Danny Baugher, New England Patriots - Mitchell wasn't the only player who had a humiliating family scuffle. Baugher, seen here with the Rhein Fire of NFL Europa, was charged with assaulting his 54-year-old father in Aug. 2007. The location? A fast-food parking lot at 4 AM.

Kevin Mackey, Cleveland State Coach - Mackey's arrest in 1990 went down in history not for the charge, but for the unbelievable circumstances of his bust. The former hoops coach was caught by television cameras emerging from a crackhouse with a prostitute on his arm. Cleveland State fired Mackey a few days later.
