Now it's no secret that Dan Synder has always wanted to buy a super bowl win but this is ridiculous in these days of economic woes. That must make the rest of the team feel good. If Hainesworth can't become a leader in the locker room (and after watching him smash a clete or two into somebody's face) than it will be another expensive bust for a hyped up player (Ryan Leaf comes to mind). I actually thought the Titans would take the Super Bowl but after 14-0, they circled the bowl and disappeared. What was that? Where'd they go? I'm tired of the Steelers and their quarterback who stands in the middle of the huddle like a redwood tree and tosses balls Whenever there is big money involved, the player always falls flat or gets hurt. Now isn't this just ridiculous......this is an absolute sin......how can this be.........years ago the players had " class " and were good role models....and they behaved as gentlemen........now the majority of them are nothing more than ghetto thugs, crimminals, dope dealers and users......women beaters........drunk drivers......and the list goes on and on...what pray tell do these people do to " earn " this kind of money......no ONE man needs this kind of money....this is SICK

These sports players are overpaid egotistical idiots. Baseball and Football has become nothing more than a bunch of wanna be lowlifes looking for fast money and fame. There is no more LOVE OF THE GAME philosophy. If they REALLY loved the game, they wouldn't be demanding so much money to play the game. It's to the point now that no one, especially families, can even afford to go to a football game or baseball game. Can't afford the over priced tickets, pay for parking and definitly can't afford to buy an over priced drink and hot dog. Pretty soon it won't matter. The players demand so much money and the teams are idiot enough to give it to them that eventually no one will be able to afford the games and then the teams will have no money to pay these idiot players and therefore the sport will suffer. These sports need caps. Only so much for first year, so much second year etc. If injured but stay on roster, your pay is cut. And I'm not talking first year 35 million crap. I'm talking, first year 1 million. Even that is still in my opinion to much but 100 million is idiotic. These teams screw themselves by offering it. If all the teams refuse to pay these idiot players these amounts, those players will HAVE to play for less or not play at all and get nothing

Absolutely DISGUSTING that in this day and age someone is getting paid this ridiculous amount of money to carry around a ball. And 30 people, who probably not only outweigh this person in value, but in character *yes I said character as in a fricking person with class would not demand this kind of money while people are losing hoems and the economy is so bad)and who knows how much hard work they put in.. had to get laid off so this dweeb can injure himself within a week or two and still get paid. People can't even afford the tickets anymore but I guess that doesn't matter. When are we going to wake up and realize that the only way to stop this ridiculousness is to boycott the damn games.. especially with all the ways to see them now in HD on big screen tv's.. jesus people.. open your eyes.. guys actually used to play for the love of the game.. now its just a joke!
