Way to go Rafa !! At this point, I think Rafa has a better chance of breaking
Sampras record than Roger. After playing 5 hrs of ten5s the day before he goes another 5 next day to beat A great player. He deserves to be #1. True Grit

What a shame. Federers turned into a head case at this point in his career. He may have won his last grand slam.A real pity!

The MEDIA does it again!!!!!!!!! What was this drama with them all? We missed most of the celebration after the game, to HAVE to listen to them, it seemed as if TV was creating roles for them to play.
The main thing was, they allowed Mr Federa(?) to languish in his loss waiting for the Media to do their act, shameful.and for what? We didn't need to listen to them. We wanted to share with the players. How dare the Media ask all those important people to stand at such a time and wait, while non people, are using precious air time. My man won!!! but I do not like to see such a man as Roger treated so badly. Make good copy--did it? You people just proved your ignorance. Valerie Gobie

Serena is way to giddy in her press conferences after a win. She should watch all of Rafa's press conferences after he wins (or loses) to find out how a winner (or loser) is supposed to act. She is a great player, but not a very humble winner, or a complimentary looser (hardly ever praising her opponets).

Serena won because she's a great American tennis player. Isn't that what "true " Americans would say? Hmm, why the double standard?
