Hello! I'm Meredith O., editor-in-chief of The Videologist, and tonight I'll be covering the Super Bowl ads, as they happen, as up-to-the-minute as I can blog 'em. Thanks for having me!

For the record -- I'm rooting for the Giants. (My Dad is a lifetime Giants fan; I remember we had a private party for Super Bowl XXI in 1987 ... just me, him and all my favorite Care Bears.) Yes, I expect to be disappointed.

6:05: Troy Aikman. Pre-game. Blah blah blah blah. Get to the ads. Oooh, ads! Ford Focus, MacBook ... These are all old.
6:10: Resiliency. Teamwork. Jordin Sparks looks really nervous. Ads! The 'Vantage Point' trailer: Old.
6:16: A new Ford / Sync ad -- featuring a patient requesting "Anesthesia on." Cute.
6:18: Tom Brady got a haircut! I think. I don't want to look directly at him; I might get pregnant. Next, an Owen Wilson movie trailer -- 'Drillbit Taylor.' Looks like 'SuperBad' ... with Owen Wilson.
