Johnson urges you to buy his motivational DVD, Winning at Confidence: Jimmie Johnson's Guide to Success. Cheerleaders, celebrity cameos, hapless kids -- it's comedy gold (well, you can vote on it -- I wonder how Little E fans will vote). Up next: Jimmie Johnson as host of Saturday Night Live?

Check out the video after the jump.

Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments

But let's be real, it's also good for the eyes. With Sharapova's return, it means we can load up the Sharapova gallery again.
Can Anybody Stop Rafael Nadal?

by Sunny Wu
Another Monte Carlo Masters, another Rafael Nadal victory. The Spaniard won his fifth straight Monte Carlo title on Sunday, disposing of Novak Djokovic 6-3, 2-6, 6-1. Nadal simply owns the tournament -- no one has been better in the modern era.

The only surprise? That Djokovic, himself no slouch, was able to snag a set from the top-ranked player. Before that, Nadal hadn't dropped a set in the tournament since 2006. But Nadal bounced back quickly and trounced the No. 3 player in the world with a third-set spanking.

With the season's second major a month away, the question is: Can anyone stop Nadal from hoisting his fifth French Open trophy at Roland Garros? The short answer: No. Nadal has won 21 straight matches on clay, and there's no reason to envision another player stopping him.

Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments

Roger Federer's Frustrations Boil Over

by Sunny Wu
Roger Federer's struggles continue. And the once-impeccable and unflappable champion is showing signs of cracking.

Trailing in the third set to Novak Djokovic in the semifinals of the Sony Ericsson Open, the 13-time Grand Slam champion unleashed his frustration on his racquet after missing a surefire winner into the net. The mangled mess of a racquet did not change the momentum of the match, as Djokovic cruised to a 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 victory.

Later in the third set, the usually reserved Swiss -- we expect this from Andy Roddick or Fernando Gonzalez or Lleyton Hewitt, but not Federer -- flipped his empty water bottles behind his seat in disgust. He even forgot to shake the umpire's hand after the match. Totally out of character and a window into Federer's fragile state.

Video of Federer's tantrum after the jump.

Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
