Ben Hendrickson's Dad Is an Internet Troll

Ben HendricksonBen Hendrickson was a highly-regarded prospect for the Brewers for a number of years, but for whatever reason he just couldn't get it done in the big leagues: in 14 appearances he's posted a 1-10 record and a 7.41 ERA. With that in mind, it was no real surprise (or loss) when the Brewers finally gave up on the guy, putting him on waivers and trading him to the Royals for unheralded catching prospect Maxim St. Pierre.

So why are we discussing such a minor trade? Because apparently, the spectacle of watching his son publicly fail prompted Hendrickson's father Graham to make a spectacle of himself on a popular Brewers message board at BrewersFan.net ... but not before trying to sell some swag:
I want to thank the people who supported Ben and his time with the Brewers... It was interesting to say the least.. I do know this some of you dont have a clue but the ones that do you know who you are..

Also i have some Brewers things for sale, cheap to say the least...
3 xl jackets and ill even throw in a P. Fielder bat i got from him..

if anyone is interested let me know and ill call you or you me..

Once again thanks to you few good people who really do understand the game of Baseball... And the best of luck with this terribly run organization...
While rude, that message was hardly inflammatory, but that's because he apparently saved his profanity-laced tirades for private messages to other members, which led to him getting permanently banned from the site:
Well, this would mark the first time I had to ban a player's dad. Graham, I appreciated all of the insights you've given us while Ben was in the organization, but your history of obscenity-laced private messages to people has earned you a mark in the hall of shame.
Heads up, Royals fans, because Graham is coming to a message board or blog near you. (Kudos to Doug for the tip)
