Beating the Colts at the RCA Dome is a tall order for even the fittest of teams. That makes the Denver Broncos pretty major underdogs later this afternoon. Javon Walker is going to miss the game with a knee injury suffered against Jacksonville last weekend. Practice squadder Glenn Martinez will take his place in the lineup but Brandon Stokely and Brandon Marshall will be charged with replacing his playmaking abilities. The defense doesn't look like it will be in much better shape. The team also signed safety Steve Cargile from the practice squad which would indicate that John Lynch, listed as questionable with an aching groin, is going to be out of action later today. Lynch's backup, Hamza Abdullah, has already been ruled out with a hip injury leaving the secondary in no condition for Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison.
With starting guard Ben Hamilton out for the season because of concussions the only facet of the Broncos operating at full strength is the run defense. That's not exactly a positive, they're giving up 166 yards a game, and when you take it all together, the Broncos could be looking at a serious beating at the hands of the defending champs.
