Stacey Dales Quit ESPN Over Airline Tix

Stacey Dales left ESPN a few months ago on a "matter of principle," when the two sides could not meet in the middle on a certain portion of her contract. At the time, this was alleged to be some sort of "travel provision." We heard about it and we all moved on.

Then the rumor surfaced that Dales backed out of the contract because ESPN refused to pay for her not to fly coach when she traveled around the country. This rumor was, purportedly, confirmed by an ESPN source recently.

ESPN's Brad Nessler Wants You to Leave Tom Bradley Alone

We all have slips of the tongue and not all of us have a backspace key to quickly clean them up.

Enter ESPN's Brad Nessler who was calling last night's Tennessee-Kentucky hoops game. The broadcast was being brought back to them after a quick break to gloss over the video of Patriots' QB Tom Brady walking around with his foot in a boot. When Nessler got it back, he unearthed this:

"All right Reece, leave Tom Bradley alone. He deserves a day off with his girlfriend whether he's limping or not."

Tom Bradley? You could chalk that up to basketball announcer guy not knowing football that well. Except Nessler is one of the top announcers ESPN/ABC has and is the voice for EA Sports' NCAA Football video game series. I'm pretty sure he knows who Tom Brady is. I'll chalk it up to the fact that Nessler had been saying Kentucky guard Ramel Bradley's name all night and having it on the brain.
