For most people, winning an Olympic medal would give you cause for celebration. For the British, having two eyes and the ability to intake oxygen is cause for celebration. Bradley Wiggins, an Englishman with two gold medals, landed the perfect storm.Being extremely frisky and adventurous, Wiggins was in an area of Beijing labeled London House, set up as a promotional area for the 2012 games, and decided that truly celebrating meant rolling over the bonnet of a taxi cab.
A British Olympic Association spokeswoman said: "He was at London House yesterday celebrating his achievements and rolled over the bonnet of a parked taxi that was waiting outside.Wiggins is lucky the games were in Beijing and not Singapore. Sure, rolling over a cab will get you dropped on the spot, but just being out on the town with your medals will get you 20 lashes.
"The driver was not very happy and got out and there were some police officers already there who spoke to the driver. It ended up very good-natured with photos being taken of him, the driver and his medals."
