Home Delivery: Iverson Walking on Memphis, S-Jax Joining Charlotte

Allen IversonHome Delivery is your morning roundup of last night's action in the NBA from a fantasy perspective.

Well that was one busy Monday, wasn't it? And to think, we only had three games on the schedule.

Monday afternoon we learned that the Warriors had traded Stephen Jackson to the Bobcats for Raja Bell and Vladimir Radmanovic. The early fantasy implications on this one were on display Monday night as Jackson was in uniform and in the starting lineup for the Bobcats. He had a typical Jackson line: 13 points on 4-of-14 shooting, one three-pointer, nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and four turnovers. Some things remain the same.

The implications in Golden State won't necessarily be known until Tuesday night when the Warriors play the Cavaliers. Then again, it's never a given when you're talking about Don Nelson's rotation. One night Raja Bell might be in; the next he's out. Stay tuned.

Oh, yeah, and Allen Iverson and the Memphis Grizzlies parted ways. It might be safe to drop Iverson outright, unless of course the Knicks come to the rescue. Isn't that something the old regime would have done?

Cavs, Rockets, Pacers With Favorables

Court Vision is a breakdown of the weekly schedule to help you set your fantasy lineup.

The Golden State Warriors continue to warm the hearts of fantasy owners in need of a helping hand. Just look at what Brandon Jennings did to the Warriors last night -- 55 points on 21-of-34 shooting (61.8-percent), seven treys, five rebounds and five assists. There seems to be a running theme with young players performing at their peak against Golden State.

In the Warriors past five games, three rookies, a sophomore and a Danny Granger each led their respective teams in scoring. Jennings with his 55 points, Tyreke Evans dropped 32 points, Jonny Flynn had 19 points and Danilo Gallinari had 19 and 10 against the Warriors. This must kill Stephen Curry who is not seeing the early minutes most expected him to get.

At any rate, it's nice to see the Golden State Warriors show up on the schedule when you're looking at your weekly matchups. Let's see who gets the lucky draw this week.

Brandon Jennings Drops 55 on Warriors

Bucks rookie point guard Brandon Jennings, he of the European diversion, created enough hype to fill up the Bradley Center twice during his first six games, with a 20-point per game average earning Rookie of the Year chatter coast to coast. Suffice it to say Jennings's 55-point outburst Saturday night against (yes) the Warriors will ratchet up to volume of those calls to unbelievable levels.

Jennings dropped 29 points in the third quarter against Golden State, and 45 in the second half for a come-from-behind 129-125 win for Milwaukee. He broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's Bucks rookie record for points in a game (KAJ, then Lew Alcindor, had 51) and came within a bucket of teammate Michael Redd's single-game franchise record (57). He was three points away from Wilt Chamberlain's NBA rookie record for points in a game.

And of course, Jennings drew rave reviews from his coach Scott Skiles, a former point guard.

Suns Score 123 Points, None of Which Belong to Alando Tucker

Home Delivery is your morning roundup of last night's action in the NBA from a fantasy perspective.

It was all Phoenix last night as the Suns beat the Hornets 124-104. The Suns scored 101 of their points in the first three quarters, so you can tell where this is going. Steve Nash needed just 23 minutes to post 12 points and 10 assists. Amare Stoudemire added 21 points. Even Goran Dragic got in on the fun adding 14 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Unfortunately, Alando Tucker was the only Sun held scoreless. On the bright side he wasn't the worst player in the game. That honor goes to the player responsible for last night's lotto line.

On the other side of the ball Chris Paul played inspired ball after Steve Nash called him the best point guard in the league. Paul had 25 points on 9-of-16 shooting with four treys, six assists and four steals. Chris Paul is making 2.2 threes per game and is shooting 63-percent from the floor in his first nine, which is making him the clear-cut No.1 player in all of fantasy.

Jeremy Tyler's European Detour Isn't Going Too Well

And now for the flip side of the smiley Brandon Jennings narrative. Jeremy Tyler, a stand-out big man from San Diego, followed Jennings's European plan with a twist: Tyler decided to not just spend one post-high school season overseas before entering the NBA draft, but to spend his senior season of high school there as well. Tyler signed on with Israeli club Haifa.

Experts agreed that Tyler lacked the maturity or social structure to make it work in a foreign land. And lo! Pete Thamel of the New York Times, after a visit to Tyler's team, writes that the worst fears are being realized.

Luke, Jennings Is Your Father

Who's Got Next is a weekly look at some of the top players widely available on the waiver wires.

It's pretty easy to get excited about Brandon Jennings' near triple-double in his NBA debut. He scored 17 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished nine dimes in 34 minutes against the 76ers on Friday night. He added two threes, but didn't manage to record a steal. With Luke Ridnour coming off the bench and playing just 16 minutes, it's pretty safe to say that for now Jennings is running the point in Milwaukee.

FanHouse Preview: Bucks

FanHouse previews all 30 NBA teams in advance of the 2009-10 season.

The Bucks were awful last year, but at least they had an excuse: Michael Redd, the team's leading scorer six years and counting, and Andrew Bogut, the franchise center who signed a $72 million extension before last season, each missed more than half of the season with injury.

The good news? Both players are healthy entering camp and should be primed to make up for lost time. The bad news? GM John Hammond has rebooted the supporting cast in their absence, trading Richard Jefferson to the Spurs in a cost-cutting maneuver while losing Charlie Villanueva and Ramon Sessions to free agency.

When a fifth-place team loses three of its top four scorers and doesn't even receive a legitimate starter to show for it, you know it's going to be a long year.
