The Baltimore Ravens
Derrick Mason - Despite a partially dislocated shoulder, Mason plans to make the trip to New York and participate in the game against the Giants. While he is not a great start, I do believe he will play. Keep in mind this will be his 100th straight game, so Mason has a vested interest in getting out there on Sunday.
The Carolina Panthers
Jonathan Stewart - Stewart seems to be recovering well from his painful heel injury, although with the Lions on tap and DeAngelo Williams playing so well, we might not see too much of Stewart until next week.

Injuries to Watch: Week 11
Bears Keeping Brandon Lloyd on Sideline For Very Little Reason
For a brief moment there early in the season, it appeared that Brandon Lloyd was finally going to make good on his promise. He had been a colossal bust at every stop in his early career, but he showed flashes of brilliance for the Bears, including a gem in Week 3 where he caught six balls for 124 yards and a touchdown. Like everyone else with a brain, I figured his knee injury was still lingering when I saw Lloyd on the inactive list this past weekend when the Bears faced the NFL's lone unbeaten team.
Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
Lloyd explained that it was coach Lovie Smith's "strategy decision," to sit him against the NFL's stingiest scoring defense.Um, seriously? Well, then I'd like to have a few words with Lovie Smith. Earl Bennett -- who only plays special teams -- was on the active roster instead of a fully-healed Brandon Lloyd? Someone, anyone, please make sense of this for me. He has more talent than Rashied Davis and Marty Booker. Unlike the speedy Devin Hester, he's actually a wide receiver by trade.
"I've been champing at the bit to get out there," Lloyd said.
You don't think Rex Grossman could have used another weapon?
If this is true, it's an absolutely absurd decision by the Bears coaching staff. Let's hope it doesn't happen again.

The Arizona Cardinals
Larry Fitzgerald- Fitty missed his Wednesday practice and was not a full participant on Thursday due to a thumb injury. Remember though, this is Larry Fitzgerald, so even if he only had one hand he would be a must-start.
The Baltimore Ravens
Willis McGahee - Willis McGahee is part of the fantasy circus this week after Ray Rice filled in with a humongous game last week. Now Baltimore's offensive coordinator, Cam Cameron, looks to be leaning toward Rice regardless, but nothing is set as of this point. Given McGahee's lingering injury, I would sit this week out and see what happens unless some very concrete news surfaces about McGahee's availability and the safety of his starting job.
Ray Rice - As if the backfield situation in Baltimore was not confusing enough already, Ray Rice has been limited in practice this week with a chest injury. Still, he looks ready to go and should be a pretty strong start this week.
The Carolina Panthers
Jonathan Stewart - Stewart seems to have pretty serious pain in his heel and has been wearing the boot. At this point, he is considered day-to-day, but this seems worse than just day-to-day. He explained that he feels intense pain every time he puts pressure on the foot, so I'd go elsewhere this week. Plus, even if he is healthy, he'll be sharing carries with DeAngelo Williams.

The Arizona Cardinals
Anquan Boldin - Anquan Boldin owners, you may now do the worm. I think it's safe to say Q is healthy again.
The Baltimore Ravens
Willis McGahee - Willis McGahee sat out of practice -- likely just for rest -- on Wednesday as he continues to play through the lingering knee issue. He is expected to start this weekend against Cleveland, which should present a good matchup.
Todd Heap - Heap is listed as questionable and has been limited in practice this week with a neck injury. Heap has produced consistently terrible numbers thus far in 2008, so don't bother holding him on the roster.
The Chicago Bears
Brandon Lloyd - Coming off a bye week, Lloyd practiced light and is questionable for week nine. While this is still a day-to-day decision, a home game against the worst team in the NFL (Detroit) provides some incentive to put the pads on and get out on the field. Keep an eye on this, but I suspect the waiting game to end this week.
Out With the Old, In With the New: Week 9 Fantasy Football WR Rankings
FanHouse fantasy positional rankings are compiled weekly by the staff in order to provide answers to possible lineup questions. These are assuming most leagues use Fleaflicker's standard scoring structure. If you need clarification, you need more players ranked, or have funky league rules, feel free to shoot us an email question.Donnie Avery and DeSean Jackson over Marvin Harrison and Torry Holt? You bet your fantasy football-luvin' arse. It's not even close ... hasn't been for weeks when it comes to Harrison vs. Jackson. Old receivers are yesterday's news anyway. Check out the new guard of stud wideouts: Brandon Marshall, Greg Jennings, Roddy White, Calvin Johnson, Jackson, Avery, Eddie Royal, etc. Love those young'uns.
- Santonio Holmes is back on the field this Sunday, but I worry about his production after the off-week. He was already a big-time bust before Da Bust. Plus, Big Ben's wing is tweaked, and the Redskins are tough on the pass at home.
- If Brandon Lloyd plays, watch out. I'm expecting a huge week outta him.
1. Andre Johnson, at MIN
2. Larry Fitzgerald, at StL
3. Lee Evans, vs. NYJ
4. Brandon Marshall, vs. MIA
**5. Reggie Wayne, vs. NE
Brandon Lloyd Back at Practice Just in Time to Shred the Lions
The Chicago Bears have played the past three weeks without arguably their best receiver, but Brandon Lloyd returned to the practice field today, and looks like he'll be ready to suit up this coming weekend at home against the hapless Detroit Lions. The Bears' once-maligned passing offense has flourished this season, namely in the past few weeks as they've been rising all the way up to 11th in the NFL. The return of Lloyd gives Kyle Orton his most talented weapon and will only help the offense get better.
The last time Lloyd played a full game, he was gashing the talented Tampa Bay defense for 124 yards and a touchdown on six catches. A few of the catches were circus-like, as he rescued Orton from sub-par throws. In the past couple weeks, those sub-par tosses have gradually disappeared. The passing offense is firing on all cylinders.
Fantasy Spin:
Lloyd will be a quality WR3 in most leagues moving forward. The Bears are spreading the ball around a bit, but Lloyd is the best WR option of the bunch, especially with Devin Hester banged up. Having Lloyd come back also solidifies Orton as a quality fantasy starter even further. Assuming Lloyd has no setbacks and plays this weekend, he's a very solid flex option. Orton is a must-start against the Lions.

The Arizona Cardinals
Anquan Boldin - After a well-timed bye week affording Boldin an extra week to rest his dome, he is expected to play on Sunday. Boldin allegedly lost about ten pounds though after having his jaw wired shut and slurping his food for two weeks. I'm in this predicament myself and plan to start him, but it's not an easy decision. If you have other quality options, it is probably worth waiting to see what he does this weekend.
The Baltimore Ravens
Derrick Mason - Unfortunately for Mason owners, who saw his value tick up after his six catch, 86 yard, one touchdown game last week, he was unable to practice this week with an undisclosed illness. Mason is not reliable enough to risk starting unless the illness dissipates completely.
The Carolina Panthers
D.J. Hackett - While I doubt too many people are reeling over Hackett's day-to-day status, he looks to be practicing lightly and should be available to play.
The Chicago Bears
Brandon Lloyd - Brandon Lloyd continues to nurse a sprained knee, so hopefully this week's bye should be the final stage in the waiting game. After a hot start to the season, owners are eagerly anticipating his return, but who knows what kind of shape he will be in upon returning.

Anquan Boldin - With a well-timed bye week affording Boldin an extra week to rest his dome, he looks to be on pace for a week 8 return.
The Buffalo Bills
Trent Edwards - Edwards is back at full speed and ready to go after suffering a frightening concussion in week 5. The Bills landed a bye in week 6, so he should be in good shape against the Chargers this week who have been disappointing against the pass.
The Chicago Bears
Brandon Lloyd - Brandon Lloyd continues to nurse a sprained knee that has kept him out of practice. It looks like yet another week of waiting for owners who hope that Brandon Lloyd will return for his ascent to Orton's #1 in Chicago.

As always, please feel free to chime in with opinions, updates, and rumors in the comments. The Arizona Cardinals
Anquan Boldin - Coach Whisenhunt left open the possibility of Q's return to action in Sunday's game against the Cowboys as he practiced lightly on Thursday. Still, with the bye week coming in Week 7, it doesn't make much sense to rush him back to action this week. Wait until closer to gametime to make a sit/start decision, but definitely plan on starting another receiver for week 6.
Roddy White - Roddy scared owners on Wednesday when a big in-practice collision kept him out of action and earned him a "Questionable" on the injury report. It looks like this was just precautionary, however, so he should be ready to go on Sunday.
The Baltimore Ravens
Willis McGahee - McGahee's injuries du jour, his knee and ribs, kept his practices very light and he sported the red no-contact jersey in practice. Expect him to play on Sunday, but with Le'Ron McClain continuing to mop up the goalline touchdowns and about a third of the carries.
The Buffalo Bills
Trent Edwards - Edwards sat out of practice Tuesday and was sent home on Wednesday as he is still woozy from the concussion suffered in last Sunday's game. The Bills have a bye this week, so it really doesn't matter; just keep an eye on him next week.
