Two up-and-comers will get six-figure UFC contracts, and the No. 1 UFC lightweight contender may be determined, at Saturday night's Ultimate Fighter Finale. We've got the full preview and predictions below.

Chris Lytle: Fireman, Father, UFC Star

Chris Lytle will step into the Octagon on Saturday night for his 49th professional mixed martial arts fight. But as busy as he's been fighting dozens of times, Lytle has done a lot more than just that: Lytle is also a full-time firefighter with the Indianapolis Fire Department, in addition to being a husband and father of four, and doing some professional boxing on the side as well.

In an interview with FanHouse, Lytle told me how he balances it all, why he expects his fight with Kevin Burns at Saturday night's Ultimate Fighter Finale on Spike to be a barn burner, and why he never wants fighting to feel like just a job that delivers a paycheck. The full interview is below.

On July 1, Indiana To Become Next State to Sanction MMA

Indiana is likely to become the next state to fully regulate mixed martial arts, as Senate Bill 160 has been ratified, allowing state sanctioning to begin on July 1.

The history of the bill can be found by clicking here.

Until now, MMA shows have been allowed in Indiana but have never before been under government sanctioning. The new law will allow a newly renamed state athletic commission to oversee the sport.

UFC 93 Morning After: Let's Hear It for Dan Henderson

After the 1996 Olympics, Dan Henderson was a world-class athlete looking for a way to make a living. He had just competed in Greco-Roman wrestling in Atlanta, and he knew he wasn't ready to retire as an athlete at age 26, but he also knew there was no professional Greco-Roman wrestling circuit.

So he decided to take a shot at mixed martial arts, a sport so obscure that when he told people he was doing it, most didn't know what it was. Even those who had heard of it were only vaguely aware of what it was; some people called it Ultimate Fighting, some called it vale tudo, some called it no holds barred, and some called it savagery unfit for an Olympian.

But Henderson entered the Brazil Open in 1997, and that began an MMA career that has seen him fight professionally on four continents, and an MMA career that continued on Saturday with his victory over Rich Franklin in the main event at UFC 93.
