LOS ANGELES -- As is usually the case in the world of UFC president Dana White, a lot is happening on a daily basis. Not only is this weekend UFC 104, but news continues to break on a whole host of topics. FanHouse spoke to White on Thursday about whether Dan Henderson will re-sign with the organization or head to Strikeforce, Bernard Hopkins' recent negative comments about MMA, "Big" John McCarthy not working at UFC 104 and Chuck Liddell's fighting future.

It's been a long time since Mauricio "Shogun" Rua has walked into a fight as the underdog, with the odds stacked against him and the fans doubting his ability to win, but that's exactly what he'll face on Oct. 24 when he steps into the octagon at UFC 104 and stares across the cage at unbeaten champion Lyoto Machida.

It's generally considered an honor to be spoofed by The Simpsons and mixed martial arts was chosen as the iconic cartoon series' latest subject of satire for an episode that aired Sunday on Fox.

The last time I talked to Chuck Liddell, in August, he wasn't ready to say whether he would retire from the UFC. Two months later, he still isn't ready -- but I got the sense then, and I still get the sense from a TV interview he gave Monday, that he's itching to get back into the Octagon. Video below.

Chuck Liddell weighed in under 215 pounds last week and earned $10,000 from UFC president Dana White.

It was all part of a friendly bet White made with Liddell to see if the former UFC light heavyweight champ could get back into fighting shape while he's deciding on whether or not to continue his MMA career. Liddell last fought close to five months in a loss to Mauricio "Shogun" Rua at UFC 97.

Chuck Liddell says he hasn't decided whether he's retiring from the UFC, but the former light heavyweight champion has found a slightly less strenuous outlet for his energy than MMA: He'll appear on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars.

Liddell doesn't have the best footwork in all of MMA, but from a quick look at the cast, at least based on the little I know about them, I'd say the only people in the group who are more nimble on their feet are former Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin and (maybe) snowboarder Louie Vito.
