Part four of the quest to reunite the entirety of the 1997 Cleveland Indians on the 2009 Los Angeles Dodgers takes us places we never dared go, to a post-apocalyptic wasteland where humanity is depraved and the skies are filled with ash.

Michael Lewis' book about Billy Beane's strategy in making a small-market team successful in Major League Baseball, "Moneyball," is going to be made into a feature-length movie. Shooting isn't set to begin until June, but many of the key players are being put in place. Brad Pitt is going to play Oakland A's general manager Beane (the two are pictured side-by-side here) and Steven Soderbergh will be the director.

Now, according to variety.com, Demetri Martin has been added to the fray, and he'll play Paul DePodesta, currently employed by the Padres, but formerly the Dodgers general manager and Beane's assistant GM in Oakland.

In order to drum up publicity for his soon-to-be released book, Kirk Radomski offered a juicy sneak preview of what readers can expect while appearing on ESPN's Outside the Lines last weekend.

And what better way to get the attention of the biggest newspapers in New York than to lob accusations at former Mets and Yankees?

I heart Batting Stance Guy -- his ability to accurately portray nearly every major league batting stance from the late 80's/early 90's is pretty ridiculous. So when I got an email from a buddy showing that he was displaying the Braves, I was pretty stoked. Fred McGriff (1:05)is spectacular, Ryan Klesko (1:25) is hilarious and the fact that they have a separate "David Justice Awkward Baseball Card Pose" (0:45) is awesome.



Although, let's be honest ... the Earl mutton chops seem a little publicity stunt driven, no? Still, keep them coming.
