Dylan Favre is destined to famous. Or annoying. Or maybe both. After all, he's Brett Favre's nephew and there's a certain amount of cache that comes with such lineage.

However, regardless of how large the familial expectations are, Dylan is guaranteed to go down in Mississippi state history, setting another monstrous record as a high school quarterback. This time, it was the single-game record for passing yards -- previously he piled up 48 touchdowns in a single season -- which he broke Friday night by casually tossing for 549.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce you to Dylan Favre, the nephew of a guy by the name of Brett Favre, who is a junior quarterback at Bay Saint Louis (Miss.) St. Stanislaus and is breaking records like his crazzzzzy uncle.

Dylan has already set a state record with 48 touchdowns this season, including eight on the ground, and might be even more popular on the national recruiting trail were it not for his undersized build. Baby Favre is only 5-foot-10, 180 pounds and is only being lightly recruited by Ole Miss, Southern Miss, UCLA and Notre Dame, which have sent Dylan standard-issue letters.

While Drew Brees continues to break the size mold for NFL quarterbacks (he's listed at 6-foot but I've stood next to the man and he wouldn't be 6-foot on stilts), most quarterbacks these days are between 6-foot-2 and 6-foot-5. It's going to be hard to convince coaches to take a chance on a guy that is already at a disadvantage before ever touching a football.
