Fantasy Football Over/Under: Week 9

Here's how it works. We throw some intriguing matchups at the FanHouse staff and ask whether each player will be over or under a certain point total. The result? Fantasy Football Over/Under. Makes sense, right?

Let's review my picks from last week and see how awful I did ...

Studs and Duds, Week 6: Back to Brady

Each week in the NFL, there are players that impress and players that distress. One week a certain quarterback might toss four touchdowns and run around pointing skyward, while the next he's laying on his back, holding his facemask as the other team returns one of his three interceptions for the game-winning score. With that in mind, here's Studs and Duds.

Studs

Tom Brady, QB New England (29 of 34, 380 yards, 6 TDs) -- People were questioning his knee this season. He seemed jittery in the pocket, made throws he didn't used to make, and wasn't leading the Patriots like he had during those three Super Bowl years and undefeated regular season in 2008.

Broncos' Talented Eddie Royal Slowly Adjusting to New Role

Eddie RoyalDENVER -- Eddie Royal epitomizes the transition the surprising 5-0 Denver Broncos have made from what they were to what they have, thus far, become.

With the arrival of new head coach Josh McDaniels this season, plenty of Broncos players had to expect adjusted roles this season. But for the few facing a drastic, unexpected change -- a change that may have been hard to buy into initially -- they faced a choice: Sulk and be left behind.

Or accept it. Like McDaniels likes to say -- well, actually demand -- "Do your job."

So, Royal has.

Fantasy Football Sunday Wrap: Sad Bills Becoming Worthless in Fantasy

Sunday Evening Wrap checks out players who increased or decreased their value during the Sunday afternoon games.

Faller of the Week: All Buffalo Bills. Three points against the Cleveland Browns? The same Browns who ranked dead last in the NFL in total defense, 31st in scoring defense, 22nd in passing defense and 31st in run defense? Abandon ship. Everyone except Terrell Owens and the two running backs (Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson) can be dropped. No one can safely be started in any league at this point. This is just a mess. Lee Evans and Trent Edwards are owned in far too many leagues. Drop the dead weight.

Fantasy Football Over/Under: Week 5

Here's how it works. We throw some intriguing matchups at the FanHouse staff and ask whether each player will be over or under a certain point total. The result? Fantasy Football Over/Under. Makes sense, right?

The fantasy football landscape is starting to shake out a bit, and it's time to change the way you look at some players. With that in mind, we've listed two of the hottest receivers in football as No. 1 WRs this week.

No need to say much else -- you know how the game works by now. Just remember to stop by Fantasy FanHouse before game time on Sunday, as we'll be answering your fantasy questions from 10:30 AM ET until the first kickoff.

Fantasy Football Chat Recap

Did you miss me? An impromptu out-of-town trip curtailed the fantasy chat last week, but we're back again in Week 5 to tackle everything that's on the mind of the fantasy football nation. Do you start Donovan McNabb in his first game back? I do. Do you continue to exercise patience with Eddie Royal? I do. Do you need a bye-week fill-in at QB, TE, or D/ST? We'll check out your options and identify the best play for Week 5.

Check after the jump to review our answers to all your pressing fantasy football issues. Then on Sunday, join us for our Sunday Tailgate chat, where we tackle your questions one final time before kickoff.

Fantasy Football Cram Session: Replacement Backs and Hating on T.O.

Eddie Royal / Terrell Owens / Matt Forte

Will Matt Forte play up to his first-round billing? And what should you do about that frustrating Terrell Owens? Fantasy Football Week 4 Rankings: WRs

Santana MossLast week we called Santana Moss a must-start fantasy option, both in the rankings column and during our weekly Sunday Tailgate chat (which we have every Sunday morning starting at 10:30 AM ET). The Redskins receiver sure did his part to make us look good.

Moss finished the Lions game with 178 yards and a touchdown on 10 catches, which was easily the best WR performance of the week. The major question, as it always is with Moss, is whether this will be the start of something good, or just another peak on the chart before disappearing again for a few more weeks. Fortunately for Moss, this week's matchup against the Buccaneers isn't any tougher. Feel confident rolling with him for another week, as he's a must-start option again.

Fantasy Football Cut-N-Go: Rushers Already Bruised and Battered

Kevin SmithCut-N-Go is Fantasy Football FanHouse's weekday roundup of the NFL news with fantasy football impact.

Seems a little early for all these injury woes, doesn't it? Frank Gore, Brian Westbrook, Clinton Portis, Jamal Lewis, Marion Barber/Felix Jones, and now you can add Kevin Smith and Willie Parker to that list.

After being unable to finish Sunday's game against the Redskins due to a shoulder injury, it turns out Smith "tweaked" his knee as well. Parker? He's playing through a case of that not-so-pretty turf toe. Backup running backs are all the waiver-wire rage this week.

Sink or Swim: Denver Broncos Receivers

It's another session of "Sink or Swim" Fantasy Football FanHouse's weekly look at the underachievers still lurking on many fantasy rosters. You've got the tough choices to make and we help you decide which direction to take. Do you cut the bait or give 'em one more chance to swim?

We are only two weeks into the season, so this is not the time to let your preconceived notions -- or preseason hype -- cloud your train of thought. This is the time to make clear and concise decisions about the future of your team. First and foremost, you never cut your stars. But if somebody that kinda-sorta-marginal-to-decent guy ain't performing up to par, don't think twice before cutting him.
