Video of NFL Offensive Linemen Getting Destroyed on Game Show

If you channel surf any, I'm sure you have seen at least promos for the ABC show, Wipeout. The website for the show describes it as the "world's largest extreme obstacle course designed to provide the most spills, face plants and wipeouts ever seen on television."

Ellen DeGeneres recently invited her two favorite NFL offensive linemen, Ephraim Salaam (Detroit) and Chester Pitts (Houston) to go through the Wipeout obstacle course for her show. Imagine what she would have asked them to do if she didn't like them. (Painful hilarity ensues after the jump)

Kurt Warner Dances on 'Ellen'

Kurt Warner made a guest spot on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday, and he revealed that he can't dance and he isn't sure if he's going to retire.

Texans LT Ephraim Salaam Wants Ellen DeGeneres to Come to a Texans Game

I caught up with Houston left tackle Ephraim Salaam at the Texans Draft Luncheon on Tuesday. He was there to accept the Mickey Herskowitz Award for being the most media friendly Texan. The video above is his message to Texan fans, and what he said to the crowd when he accepted his award. (The "Mark" and "Gary" referred to in the video are Texans TE Mark Bruener and coach Gary Kubiak)

Ephraim's personality is as big as he is, which given that he goes 6'7" 300ish, means it is huge. Very friendly personable guy. He had a busy offseason of media-friendly duties after he won the Super Bowl NFL Player ad contest. After that winning that, he and fellow Texan offensive lineman, Chester Pitts did repeated guest shots on the Ellen DeGeneres show.

David Tyree's Fame Grows With a Guest Spot on The Ellen Degeneres Show

The Super Bowl XLII Manning to Tyree play has become an instant classic, and it has transformed Giants wide receiver David Tyree from a nobody to the kind of guy who gets invited to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show:

Ellen, who quite likely didn't know who Tyree was a week ago, told him, "I'm thrilled, I feel lucky that I'm sitting next to you and I can talk to you."

Tyree revealed that his wife will soon give birth to identical twins, and that his only feeling on the catch is, "I really wish I could explain it."

Ellen gave Tyree a framed, blown-up copy of his Sports Illustrated cover, as well as some special "Ellen underwear."
