Never Too Early: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fantasy Football Preview

Hear that? It's the pitter-patter of fantasy football season approaching. Fantasy FanHouse is here to get you ready by previewing every team from a fantasy perspective.

Meet the ...
NFC South defending champs! I say that with sarcasm because, well, it just doesn't seem plausible. With the exception of one computer (whose owners didn't really even believe it), almost no one saw the Bucs' season coming. Especially after Cadillac Williams went down for the season. But they did it anyway. The problem now for fantasy owners is that very few of the Tampa Bay players will sneak up on anyone. Earnest Graham, in particular, is already being targeted in the second and third-round range.

The Breakout
Ugh. Really? I mean, come on. I guess if we're saying "sleeper" here, I'll take Cadillac, just for the upside. I was going say Michael Clayton, but that just seems lazy. Cadillac reportedly has gotten a lot healthier since last season, but hey, there's this Graham guy. Graham can't be a breakout simply because he's going relatively high, and it seems like the Bucs won't give him enough touches to make anything more than a RB2.

The Bust
Which is why he lands here. Garcia's only worth using frequently in two-QB leagues and Galloway will again be a frustrating WR2 or No. 3 that goes off/on depending on whether he's active or not in your lineup. Graham on the other hand is going somewhere from the late second to third round. Simply based on that and the potentially crowded backfield, he's the only guy on this team that can bust.

Sunday Wrap Up: Week 14

Walk It Off, Son
That was the theme as the San Diego Chargers completed a thrilling come from behind victory in Tennessee during the early set. LaDanian Tomlinson reminded why he's the best player in fantasy football and Philip Rivers bounced back from an embarrassing first half and an awkward little encounter with LT to throw two touchdowns and put the game into extra periods. (Which, by the way, should be switched to the college format. Imagine the fantasy football possibilities.) Anywho, give props to Phil too, as he walked off what looked like a serious knee injury to come in and lead the comeback. But the biggest walk off of all was LT's bust around around the left hand side of the line on first and 10 for a touchdown, putting the Chargers within one win of locking up the AFC West and sending the Titans to a potentially long off season.

Since you don't want to face the same fate in your fantasy league (that of the Titans), we're taking a different spin with the Sunday Wrap Up tonight. Instead of running through every game, we're going to focus on some of the best and worst fantasy playoff matchups and then highlight some major points from Sunday's action.

Playoff Matchups
Harumphs
    1. Cleveland Browns - v. BUF, @ CIN
    2. New England Patriots - v. NYJ, v. MIA
    3. Tennessee Titans - @ KC, v. NYJ
    4. Cincinnati Bengals - @ SF, v. CLE
    5. San Diego Chargers - v. DET, v. DEN

Coach Killers, Week 7: The Miami Dolphins Need a 2007 Do-Over

Every week, NFL FanHouse hits the lowlights from Sunday's action, looking at those players who did the most to move their head coaches that much closer to returning to the Bed and Breakfast business.

Miami Dolphins
That's right, for the first time in Coach Killers' short history, an entire organization earns the top spot. And they definitely earned it.

I understand the Dolphins are rebuilding, even though it's mid-season, but did everybody forget that they had a game Sunday? Want an example of how quickly things got out of hand against the Patriots? Here are Tom Brady's first half stats: 16 of 19 for 291 yards and FIVE TOUCHDOWNS. He finished with six for the day, and 27 for the year. There's a real chance he gets 100 by Christmas.

The Dolphins are now 0-7, and they truly have nothing to play for this season. Everything is about 2008 and beyond. Knowing that, it was encouraging to see Derek Hagan and Ted Ginn combine to haul in seven passes for 93 yards, and Ronnie Brown looked good until ... he left the game with an injury. Yeah, God has smited the 2007 Dolphins.

Silver lining: Joey Porter got his first sack of the season!
