LeSean McCoy Heads List of 'Other' Fantasy Relevant Players

We've already given a single post to each of the seemingly most relevant fantasy football impact players from the NFL Draft -- we say seemingly because bust-hood is always a possibility in this business -- but those are by no means the only players who might matter in this coming season. With that in mind, here are the rest of the guys who's impact will be felt:

LeSean McCoy, RB, Eagles (Round 2): If you end up with Brian Westbrook, you absolutely must have McCoy. The shifty stud from Pittsburgh is exactly the type of back Westbrook is, which means he can thrive in this offense.

Position Preview: Tight End

To get ready for this weekend's draft, we're looking position-by-position at who could go in the first round. Click here for the rest of the breakdowns.

First-Round Candidates

Brandon Pettigrew: There aren't many teams in the market for a first-round tight end, but when pick No. 21 pops up onto the TV, the Oklahoma State tight end will be waiting by the phone hoping to hear from the Eagles. Pettigrew is the rare first-round caliber tight end whose blocking is even better than his receiving, although he's also a good pass catcher. He would give the Eagles an every-down compliment to go with pass catching tight end Brent Celek.

David Buehler: World's Strongest Kicker

The NFL Network's first day of combine coverage just ended, and here's a quick recap: Alabama's Andre Smith -- all 800 pounds of him* -- went missing Saturday morning, while South Carolina's Jared Cook made himself some money by running 4.5 40-yard dash, the second fastest time by a tight end this decade.

But perhaps the story of the combine -- at least until Rich Eisen runs the 40 again -- is USC kicker David Buehler. Specialists -- kickers, punters, long snappers -- also get invited to the combine but never get any airtime because, well, the only thing worse than watching offensive linemen lift weights and run the cone drill is watching kickers, punters and long snappers do it.

Jared Cook Amazes Scouts at Combine

Heading into the combine, Brandon Pettigrew was easily the best tight end in this draft, while there was quite a battle to determine who was second-best.

Jared Cook may be changing that. The South Carolina Gamecock ran a blazingly fast 4.50 40-yard dash--the second fastest time by a tight end this decade (topped only by Vernon Davis), while Pettigrew ran a very pedestrian 4.82 40. Cook wrapped up the title of best athlete among the tight end crop by also showing the best vertical leap (41 inches) and broad jump (10-foot-3) among tight ends while also bench pressing 225 pounds a very solid 23 times (two more than elite tackle prospect Michael Oher).
