LOS ANGELES -- Joe Stevenson looked like the happiest man in California on Saturday night before and after his UFC 104 victory over Spencer Fisher. When FanHouse spoke to "Joe Daddy" about his second-round submission win, he praised the work of his new coach, Greg Jackson, and said that he now has a new lease on life.

Stevenson also explained why he believed Fisher was "oily" during the fight and why his dream match would be against Shinya Aoki. Check out the full video interview below.

LOS ANGELES -- Spencer Fisher has yet to be seriously viewed as a contender in the UFC's lightweight division, but the veteran says he is ready to face the best 155-pound fighter in the world, BJ Penn. First things first, though, Fisher must get by Joe Stevenson at UFC 104 on Saturday night. And while a win over Stevenson will probably not put him in the title mix yet, it would mark his fourth victory in a row over quality opponents.

FanHouse spoke to Fisher about why he thinks he is ready to fight Penn and why he already knows what Stevenson will try to do to him on Saturday. Check out the video interview below.

LOS ANGELES -- Prior to Joe Stevenson's June victory over Nate Diaz, there had been talk that another loss would mark the end of his UFC career. Thankfully for him, though, Stevenson, who had previously lost three of his last four fights, won the bout in impressive fashion, and all of sudden, regained his status as a major player in the UFC lightweight division.

But "Joe Daddy" told FanHouse on Wednesday that he would be fine walking away from his MMA career right now if he had to. When Joe Stevenson steps foot inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles on fight night at UFC 104, it will be somewhat of a longtime aspiration fulfilled.

"I was born in Torrance at UCLA Medical Center and I always grew up living in Lennox, like wanting to go to The Forum to watch all the big boxing fights and stuff and always thought I was going to get a chance to fight at The Forum," Stevenson said. "Now I see today I'm at the modern Forum, which is the Staples Center, and I'm so excited actually to be able to fight there, but still in the back of my head I wished that it was The Forum because as a kid I wanted to fight there."

PHILADELPHIA -- In his home office, Kenny Florian has a marker board that is essentially a timeline of his past, present and future in MMA. The board lists fighters he's beaten who simply get crossed off, others he's scouted as potential opponents and, of course, his next scheduled matchup.

The name of BJ Penn has long had a prime spot on the board, with Florian targeting a matchup with the UFC lightweight champion for over a year. On Saturday night, Florian gets it at UFC 101.

According to the oddsmakers, Florian is an underdog in the matchup, but perhaps no fighter in MMA has improved more in the last three years than he has. When he got his first title opportunity against Sean Sherk in October 2006, he was essentially a part-time fighter who would take large blocks of time off, only to go into intensive training when he was signed to fight. After losing the Sherk bout, he came to the realization that he couldn't become a champion with that type of work ethic.

LAS VEGAS -- After Diego Sanchez defeated Clay Guida last month at the UFC's Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale, speculation began that perhaps Sanchez was in line to get the next crack at the lightweight title after BJ Penn and Kenny Florian finish their business at UFC 101 in August.

Now comes word from Sanchez himself that the UFC has indeed promised him that he will take on the Penn-Florian winner, likely later this year.

"This comes from Lorenzo [Fertitta] and Dana [White]," Sanchez told FanHouse during UFC 100 weekend. "They're flying me out to Philadelphia. I'll be sitting there ringside. I'll probably be in the ring afterward. It's on."
