We all remember Asheville Tourists manager Joe Mikulik's famous tirade last year. Now, we have a new entry to the Mikulik Pantheon of Ridiculous Minor League Manager Protests.
The above is a link to video of Mississippi Braves manager Phillip Wellman, who was so angry about a call yesterday he did some combination of the following things:
- Threw third base
- Bent down to cover home plate in dirt with his hands
- Crawled through the infield on his stomach
- Threw the rosin bag like it was a grenade
