UFC 100 Fan Expo: Vinny Magalhaes, Kimbo Slice and More

The UFC Fan Expo taking place next weekend in Las Vegas in conjunction with UFC 100 has added some star power, as the UFC has announced a series of grappling matches and appearances by Kimbo Slice and the rest of the cast of The Ultimate Fighter 10.

The grappling matches feature some of the best jiu jitsu players in the world, and I'm personally most excited about seeing Vinny Magalhaes, who appeared on the eighth season of The Ultimate Fighter. Magalhaes lackst the striking to compete in the UFC, but he's amazing on the ground. He'll be fun to watch, although the UFC hasn't yet said who he's facing.

Ultimate Fighter Finale: Joe Stevenson Beats Nate Diaz

Joe StevensonIn a battle of former Ultimate Fighter winners, Joe Stevenson ended a two-fight losing streak by defeating Nate Diaz by unanimous decision Saturday night at the Ultimate Fighter Finale.

The first two rounds were full of action on the canvas, with Stevenson clearly showing that he has improved his jiu jitsu skills by getting the better of Diaz -- a Gracie jiu jitsu brown belt -- on the ground.

BJ Penn Enlists Infamous Trainer in Preparing for Florian

UFC lightweight champion BJ Penn was soundly defeated by Georges St. Pierre at UFC 94, and then spent time filing a lengthy appeal that went nowhere, but it seems that Penn is finally looking ahead instead of backward.

A full three months before his UFC 101 main-event matchup against Kenny Florian, Penn is in San Clemente, Calif., training with Marv Marinovich at Sport Science Lab, according to a video he posted on his site, BJPenn.com.

Marinovich is a trainer who specializes in speed, power and functional training. He is also well known as the controversial father of ex-USC and Oakland Raiders quarterback Todd Marinovich, a one-time prodigy who saw his NFL dreams fall prey to substance-abuse issues.

UFC 95 Results

We will post all the UFC 95 results here -- from the first undercard fight to the Diego Sanchez vs. Joe Stevenson main event -- around 1 PM ET Saturday, as soon as they start coming in.

If you're planning to watch the tape-delayed broadcast on Spike on Saturday night and you don't want to know what happened, you won't want to click below. If you want the full results from UFC 95, click below and refresh often on Saturday afternoon.

UPDATE: The fights are over and the full results are below.

UFC 95 Video: Diego Sanchez Thinks Joe Stevenson Looks Like a White Belt

Diego Sanchez and Joe Stevenson, who will fight each other Saturday in the main event at UFC 95, were nothing but cordial in speaking to each other on a call to promote their fight last week. But in the above video, Sanchez is highly critical of Stevenson's training habits and his jiu jitsu skills.

UFC 95: Diego Sanchez-Joe Stevenson, Nate Marquardt Added to Card

The UFC 95 card scheduled for February 21 in London is starting to fill out, with Diego Sanchez expected to take on Joe Stevenson in a lightweight match, MMA Mania reports.

Additionally, Five Ounces of Pain reports that Nate Marquardt will be on the UFC 95 card, although there's no opponent set for him yet. Other likely UFC 95 bouts include Rory Markham vs. Dan Hardy and Justin Buchholz vs. Terry Etim.

So far, there's not enough star power on this card for it to sell on pay-per-view. That might mean the show will appear for free on Spike, or it might mean there's going to be a high-profile fight added to the card. Or both.

ESPN's MMA Live on UFC 91: Brock Lesnar, Randy Couture, Kenny Florian, Joe Stevenson

Like every MMA fan I've heard from, I was impressed with the work that the guys from ESPN's MMA Live did in Las Vegas covering UFC 91. Now they're back in Bristol to recap Brock Lesnar beating Randy Couture, Kenny Florian beating Joe Stevenson and more:

The MMA Live guy talk about Lesnar being the champion and what he can expect when he fights either Frank Mir or Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

UFC 91 Video: Kenny Florian: I Might Fight Sean Sherk Before B.J. Penn

After Kenny Florian beat Joe Stevenson at UFC 91, he was crowned the No. 1 lightweight contender. But as Florian himself acknowledged on the set of ESPN's MMA Live, that doesn't necessarily mean his next fight will be against lightweight champ B.J. Penn:

Florian said he wants a title shot, but when asked if he might actually fight Sean Sherk next, Florian said, "It's possible. It's possible, and really I'm ready for anybody. I would love to fight Sean Sherk myself."

The bottom line is that despite the UFC's declarations that it now has a lightweight No. 1 contender (Florian) and a welterweight No. 1 contender (Thiago Alves), there's really no way it can promise those two that they'll get title fights soon. We won't know what the future holds for the lightweight and welterweight titles until we see Penn fight welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre on January 31. So the No. 1 contenders will just have to wait.
