LeBron James Appears on the Daily Show, Gets Recruited by Jon Stewart

Jon StewartJon Stewart returned from hiatus for the first Daily Show in three weeks, and he came back with a pretty large bang. Not only did he thrash Joe Wilson and Glenn Beck (par for the course), but he also welcomed on this fella named LeBron James.

James, as you may know, is fairly decent at basketball. Stewart, in case you didn't know, is a huge Knicks fan. What would amount to "recruiting violations" in college ensues. Watch the video after the jump.

Jon Stewart Kills Lenny Dykstra for Being Broke and Jim Cramer for Backing Him

Jon Stewart is, without question, one of the funniest human beings on the planet. The Daily Show is consistently hilarious and his "rivalry" (it's almost too one-sided to call it that) with Jim Cramer a few months back was just ridiculous. But that was all put to bed eventually ... until Lenny Dykstra had to go and get all bankrupt and Stewart had to go and find video of CNBC's Cramer going and getting all supportive of Dykstra when he first became a financial whizkid. It's almost guaranteed to be the best five minutes of your day.

Farewell Matt Millen, You Will Be Missed

It really was a sad day for all sports writers when the announcement came down that the Matt Millen era was over. We who enjoy criticizing the moronic moves of owners day in and day out feel exactly how Jon Stewart and company will feel when George W. Bush finally steps away from the seal in January. "Ok, who are we supposed to make fun of now?"

As a final FanHouse farewell to the incredible tenure that was Millen's Lions, we offer up the always impressive Ryan Parker and his salute to Miller's departure.

if you don't laugh at the line, "It looked like he used the same management tricks, That Isiah successfully used on the Knicks," than you really are a bitter, bitter Detroit sports fan.

Here it is, your moment of Zen.

John Amaechi Describes What it Feels Like to ... Dunk

The John Amaechi story has just about reached the end of its news cycle, but not before he does the requisite stops on the TV talk show circuit. Of course, we didn't actually learn anything we didn't already know in his Jon Stewart interview, but it's certainly entertaining, and perhaps even informative for those who didn't expect Amaechi to be so ... normal.
