'FanHouse at UFC 106' Pre-Fight Video Special With Jon Fitch

LAS VEGAS -- On the latest edition of FanHouse at the Ultimate Fighting Championship, we were joined by UFC welterweight star Jon Fitch to preview Saturday night's UFC 106 card.

Can Tito Ortiz rebound from an 18-month layoff and extensive back surgery? What does Forrest Griffin need to do to get over his recent loss to Anderson Silva? And will a victory over Josh Koscheck propel Anthony Johnson into a top-level 170-pound fight? All those questions and more were answer. Enjoy the pre-fight video special below.

Following Recent Injuries, Josh Koscheck Asked and Received UFC 106 Shot

LAS VEGAS -- Josh Koscheck's nickname is "Kos," but he could also go with "Mr. Dependable" as it seems like the American Kickboxing Academy product is always ready to fight for the UFC on short notice if need be. And after defeating Frank Trigg at UFC 103 in September, Koscheck will return to action this Saturday night against Anthony Johnson at UFC 106.

FanHouse spoke to the 31-year-old, who will be competing for the seventh time since March 2008, about taking this fight on short notice and Johnson's inability to make weight at UFC 104. The video interview is below.

UFC president Dana White, Forrest Griffin, Tito Ortiz, Josh Koscheck and Anthony Johnson are all scheduled to take part in the media event, which will mark the last time the co-main event fighters speak to the press before Saturday night's pay-per-view.

Updates can be found below beginning at 4PM ET.

Anthony Johnson Not Worried About the Haters or the Scale at UFC 106

LAS VEGAS -- When Anthony Johnson met with the media on Wednesday, he told them right away that he currently weighed 180 pounds and would have no problems making the 171-pound weight limit on Friday prior to his UFC 106 fight against Josh Koscheck.

And when FanHouse spoke to "Rumble," we asked the same question one more time for good measure. Guess what? He sounded very confident (once again) that there will be no replay of his weight cutting issues at UFC 104. Johnson also talked about getting a shot to fight in Saturday's co-main event, the time he spent training with Koshceck in the past, and looking to prove that he is a force to be reckoned in the UFC's crowded welterweight division. The video interview is below.

Anthony Johnson Ready for His Biggest Fight at UFC 106

Most UFC fighters take a few months off between fights. Anthony Johnson is happy to be getting just four weeks.

Johnson, who knocked out Yoshiyuki Yoshida in just 41 seconds at UFC 104, will be back on Saturday night at UFC 106, just four weeks later, taking on Josh Koscheck in a fight Johnson calls the biggest of his career. In an interview with FanHouse, Johnson said he's ready to step up and face his biggest challenge yet -- and he's ready to make weight, something he didn't do before fighting Yoshida.

UFC 106 Fight Card: Ortiz vs. Griffin, Koscheck vs. Johnson

UFC 106 will now be headlined by former light heavyweight champions Tito Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin at the pay-per-view event on Nov. 21 emanating from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

To boost the card due to postponement of Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin until UFC 108 on Jan. 2, Josh Koscheck has been matched with Anthony Johnson in a co-headliner between top welterweights.

Below is the UFC 106 fight card.

UFC 106: Josh Koscheck vs. Anthony Johnson New Co-Main Event

Josh Koscheck and Anthony Johnson have agreed to step in on short notice to fight each other at UFC 106, beefing up a card that became one of the UFC's weakest recent pay-per-view shows when Brock Lesnar pulled out with an illness.

Koscheck wrote on Twitter Tuesday night that he had agreed fight in the co-main event at UFC 106. Sherdog later reported that Johnson would be his opponent.

Vitor Belfort's KO Win Could Vault Him to Title Match With Anderson Silva

Rich FranklinDALLAS – While Rich Franklin will likely never say it, he didn't want a fight in September, let alone one against Vitor Belfort. Franklin would have preferred some time off, but the need for a headliner for UFC 103 pushed him into making the decision to participate.

Franklin may be a company man, but that loyalty – along with Belfort's considerable skills – cost Franklin, as Belfort returned to the UFC with a shocking first-round TKO over the ex-UFC middleweight champion in front of 17,428 at the American Airlines Center.

UFC 103 Josh Koscheck KOs Frank Trigg

Josh Koscheck

Josh Koscheck said prior to his fight with Frank Trigg at UFC 103 that he's a younger, stronger, better version of Trigg. He showed Saturday night that it wasn't just talk, beating Trigg by first-round TKO.
