Fantasy Football Cut-N-Go: Brandon Jacobs' Fantasy Value Skyrockets

Ahmad BradshawCut-N-Go is Fantasy Football FanHouse's weekday roundup of the NFL news with fantasy football impact.

It's been a weekly crap-shoot trying to determine which New York Giant running back would perform better between Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs. Both have been dinged up and Bradshaw rarely practices more than once per week, but each rusher still trots out there and dutifully carries the ball each week.

Over the last four weeks Bradshaw has received 41.6% of the carries and 49.6% have gone to Jacobs. Their yardage has been a bit more varied as Bradshaw has rushed for 126 yards total and Jacobs 268 over those four games.

Fourth and 26: Who's Left?

Need a last-minute fill-in for this week? 4th and 26 is here to throw you a couple deep sleepers, guys available in at least 90% of Fleaflicker leagues that could give your fantasy football team a big boost.

If you're looking for sleepers, check out our weekly Passed Out at Your Desk column. If that well has run dry (and seriously, David Clowney is claimed in your league?), you're now in the right place. We'll throw a couple obscure darts at the board and see if any stick.

Remember, if you want specific advice tuned to your fantasy situation, drop by the Sunday Tailgate chat today. We always have a lot of fun and answer a ton of fantasy questions leading up to kickoff.

4th and 26: Seneca's a Sleeper

Need a last-minute fill-in for this week? 4th and 26 is here to throw you a couple deep sleepers, guys available in at least 90% of Fleaflicker leagues that could give your fantasy football team a big boost.

I've got to tell you, I must have Wes Welker in virtually every fantasy football league I play in this year. When news broke during our Sunday Tailgate chat (which we do every Sunday starting at 10:30 AM ET), I had many rosters that needed some last second altering. If you're in a deep league (one of those leagues I needed a fill-in was a 16-teamer), you might have to go scraping the bottom of the FA barrel at the last second. Here are some guys that might help.

Waiver Wire Wonders: The Week of the Random in Fantasy Football

Johnny KnoxWeeding through those unwieldy waiver wires requires a keen eye and a quick trigger. Thus, Waiver Wire Wonders provides a weekly snapshot of players worthy of consideration who should be available on a good portion of league waiver wires. Enjoy those pickups...

While Week 1 of the NFL season revealed some clear rising stars and glaring adds for fantasy rosters, Week 2 consists largely of head-scratching maybes. Call it the week of the random. Still, several players widely available on the waiver wires made breakout statements this week, so study up and get to know these names.

Wes Welker Out for New England

The New England Patriots and New York Jets are getting ready to punch each other in the face -- perhaps literally and figuratively -- and one player that won't be taking part in the festivities is Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker.

The team announced on its twitter feed that Welker is among the inactive players for Sunday's game at the Meadowlands.

Patriots Stockpile Picks

Who moved to the head of the NFL class during the draft? Find out with FanHouse's team-by-team 2009 Draft Grades.

No team enjoys wheeling and dealing on draft weekend quite like the New England Patriots. The 2009 draft was no exception, as they made a series of moves resulting in 12 picks, and the stockpiling of even more selections in 2010.

As a result, the moves left the Patriots with no first-round selection for the first time since 2000, which is also the same year they selected some guy named Tom Brady.
