There are few players in the majors that are more frustrating to watch than Oliver Perez. In 2004, he was so filthy he was compared to Randy Johnson. Five years later, he's being labeled New York's $36 million Titanic. After a series of brutal starts where Perez has flashed more Hyde than Jekyll, the Mets are faced with an unenviable decision of either sending him to the minors or the bullpen. And now it looks like there may be one other relief option for this madness.
