So do as the man says, "Don't just stand there..."
The Adds
Pierre Garcon (WR, Colts, 5,354 adds) -- It's about time. We've only been talking up Garcon for two solid weeks now. Despite the massive attack on Garcon, he's still available in 86 percent of leagues at the time of this writing. After two solid games -- both with touchdowns -- this should change fast. Besides, how can anyone honestly pass up the temptation make waiter jokes in a French accent for the remainder of the season?
Cut-N-Go is Fantasy FootballFanHouse's weekday roundup of the NFL news with fantasy football impact.
Laurent Robinson was well-liked around Fantasy FanHouse. We believed the third-year wideout could be a serviceable WR3 many weeks, especially when you considered his soft opposing schedule and the Rams' propensity to play from behind (or suck, if you prefer). Thirteen catches and 167 yards in, Robinson's season is likely over after suffering both a fractured fibula and a high ankle sprain. But those of you who lost Robinson and are looking for receiver depth luckily have a few other very appealing options.
After three Rams losses, it's pretty evident 2009 is going to be a long season in St. Louis (the third straight of the variety). Monday, they received some more bad news -- that Laurent Robinson, a member of the already paper-thin receiving corps, will likely miss the remainder of the season after injuring his lower leg (both a fractured fibula and high ankle sprain) during Sunday's loss to Green Bay.
Quarterback Marc Bulger also left the game injured, but his injury isn't deemed as serious, now that he's been diagnosed with a bruised rotator cuff. Earlier Monday, some feared Bulger had a torn rotator cuff and would also miss the remainder of the season. Of course, clouding matters is that Kyle Boller came in relief of Bulger and looked far superior.
As we head into what could be a pivotal weekend for your fantasy football team -- you can overcome an 0-2 start, but 0-3 likely can't be overcome without a miraculous rebound -- Tom Herrera and Matt Snyder are here with FanHouse's weekly podcast. It's chock full of good stuff. We discuss the myriad injury woes, some causes for concern, "scary" teams, musical backfields (where it's like they're playing musical chairs with running backs) and a parting shot. Oh, and we find out Tom Herrera's hatred of Bon Jovi and Snyder's belief that Bill Belichick's apartment looks like that of John Doe in Se7en.

Our first big fantasy football trade of the season went down in the hours leading up to the Week 2 kickoff. Doug Bernstein put Peyton Manning on the block Friday, and since I was 0-1 and facing a must-win game in Week 2 without my top QB (Donovan McNabb), I felt I had to act, and act quickly.
I have two No.1 running backs (Steven Jackson and DeAngelo Williams) and good depth behind them, so I packaged McNabb and Jackson in an offer for Doug's No. 2 RB (Reggie Bush) and Manning.
Weeding through those unwieldy waiver wires requires a keen eye and a quick trigger. Thus, Waiver Wire Wonders provides a weekly snapshot of players worthy of consideration who should be available on a good portion of league waiver wires. Enjoy those pickups...
While Week 1 of the NFL season revealed some clear rising stars and glaring adds for fantasy rosters, Week 2 consists largely of head-scratching maybes. Call it the week of the random. Still, several players widely available on the waiver wires made breakout statements this week, so study up and get to know these names.

I hope all of you readers scored wins in your first week of fantasy football. I wasn't so lucky, as I squared off against Ryan Dembinsky, the top scorer in Week 1. Ryan rode a 38-point performance from the Eagles defense/special teams (five sacks, five interceptions, two fumbles, two TDs) to a resounding Week 1 victory and laid early claim to being the best team in the league. Big ups to Ryan.
Training camps have wrapped up, the NFL season is right around the corner, and it's still hot as sin outside. But instead of cooling you off with a warm island song, FanHouse break out ye old heat check for our 2009 NFL Season Previews. We'll rate each club in 5 categories on a scale of 1 to 10, high score wins.
The Rams enter the 2009 season in full-on rebuilding mode. Another bad season wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing for the future of the franchise as a whole, as they need to continue to grow their young players. The remnants of the strong Rams rosters from earlier this decade are either gone or aging quickly. New head coach Steve Spagnuolo will look to mold the next generation his way, starting immediately.
Friday's NFL preseason schedule is all about the quarterbacks. Three teams with serious uncertainty at the position will take the field, while a well-known star makes his official return from an injury that ruined his and his team's 2008 season.
Not only that, but another team debuts a new starting quarterback Friday night.
The Rams have been getting noticed for their incredibly physical training camp under the new Steve Spagnuolo regime. There are many positives to having a physically intense camp, but there's always the increased risk of losing an important player to injury. Remember, the Rams dodged a close call with their franchise player last week.
Friday night, No. 1 wide receiver Donnie Avery came down with a foot injury during an intrasquad scrimmage. The injury wasn't believed to be serious, but, come Sunday, Avery was experiencing enough pain that the team ordered an MRI. The results came back with bad news.
