Shaquille O'Neal Pranked by Teammate

Shaquille O'Neal is all for making a public spectacle of himself. Whether it be performing "Ice, Ice, Baby" for charity, Tweeting about his trip to Graceland or just making bloggers chase him around Phoenix malls for Suns tickets, he's always at the center of attention.

Today was no different, except Shaq wasn't in control. No sir, it was his Suns teammate (allegedly) Lou Amundson turning the tables on the Big Aristotle when he filled his car/van with pink styrofoam poppy things. Hilarity ensues, after the jump.

Video: Suns Players Sing for Charity

A few weeks back, the Phoenix Suns held their annual Suns and Stars charity benefit, and there was talk amongst the players afterwards that Goran Dragic stole the show with his rendition of the theme from "The Greatest American Hero."

They weren't lying. Goran was amazing, and so were a couple of other Suns' players. Lou Amundson performed "Ice Ice Baby" with Shaquille O'Neal and Alando Tucker as members of his on-stage posse, and Robin Lopez deftly worked the mic while singing the theme from "Cheers."

The mythical video of all three of these incredible performances, after the jump.

Nuggets' Nene Suspended 2 Games

For the second time this season, a player was ejected for his involvement in an incident with the Suns' Lou Amundson. And for the second time this season, the resulting penalty is a two-game suspension.

Denver's Nene received his suspension for head-butting and then elbowing Amundson to the floor, during the fourth quarter of the Nuggets' loss to the Suns on Monday. The offense didn't seem as severe as when Zach Randolph punched Amundson in the face, but the report from the commissioner's office said that Nene made contact with an official, which could have gotten him an additional game.

Suns Win Wild One Over Nuggets

PHOENIX -- There was a playoff atmosphere at the US Airways Center for Monday night's game between the Suns and the Nuggets, and why not? For Phoenix, who now sits three games out of a playoff spot with just 12 remaining, every game is critical to keeping its slim postseason hopes alive. And the Suns were able to do just that, at least for one more game. In a wild one that went down to the wire, the Suns squeaked out a 118-115 victory over the Nuggets.

Zach Randolph Ejected for Throwing a Punch at Suns' Amundson

PHOENIX -- The Suns were playing their first game under new head coach Alvin Gentry, and they came out with an energy that the Clippers had trouble matching. They jumped out to an early lead, put up 81 points by halftime, and led by as many as 52 before cruising to a 140-100 victory.

Most of the action that didn't involve the Suns scoring at will came at the end of the first quarter, when Zach Randolph threw a punch at Lou Amundson, which got him an immediate ejection and is also likely to get him a multiple-game suspension. (Update: Randolph was suspended two games.)
