Pat Miletich Says He Hasn't Signed a New UFC Contract ... 'Yet'

Over the weekend, Bloody Elbow noticed that Pat Miletich's profile was put back up on UFC.com. This led to speculation that the 41-year-old MMA veteran had re-signed with the UFC. Remember, prior to UFC 101 Miletich told FanHouse that he hoped to bury his long-standing grudge with UFC president Dana White.

On Monday, Miletich told FanHouse that he had not signed a new contract with the UFC "yet," but seemed very open to the idea of making his return to the Octagon in the near future. Of course, he also said the hatchet had been buried between both sides.

Pat Miletich Hopes to Bury the Hatchet With Dana White at UFC 101

Dana White recently settled his differences with rivals Affliction and Tito Ortiz. Could Pat Miletich be next?

The MMA legend told FanHouse on Tuesday that he is hoping to sit down with White at UFC 101 in Philadelphia to finally settle his differences with the UFC president. Miletich, the founder of Miletich Fighting Systems, will be cornering Jesse Lennox in his fight against Danillo Villefort.

"I'm done arguing with people," Miletich said. "It's just not worth it."

Denny Hopes to End Career on High Note

2008 could have been a banner year for MMA veteran Thomas Denny. After bouncing around different local promotions for most of his career, he signed a contract with EliteXC, and much to many pundits surprise, was booked against Nick Diaz in a high-profile fight in Diaz's hometown of Stockton, Calif., on the second EliteXC on CBS telecast in July.

Pat Miletich on Drew McFedries Situation And Making Peace With Dana White

Following his impressive win over Xavier Foupa-Pokam at UFC 98, Drew McFedries was quick to thank Matt Hughes and the rest of the H.I.T Squad for helping him get prepared in the days leading up to the fight. He also added that he "didn't get a lot of support from actually my own team at MFS [Miletich Fighting Systems], which is sad. I mean, that's my hometown."

FanHouse recently spoke to the founder of MFS, Pat Miletich, about why McFedries said that to the media at the post-fight press conference.

E:60 Profile a Close Look at Dana White

The long-awaited ESPN E:60 profile of UFC President Dana White will air tonight at 7 PM ET, and this afternoon I got an advance look at the full 12-minute profile. It is, as E:60 correspondent Tom Farrey said it would be, a portrait that shows both sides of White's personality: The intense worker who has turned the UFC into a huge success, and the man who has infuriated his competitors and drawn criticism for his temperament.

ESPN's Tom Farrey on His E:60 Profile of 'Fascinating' Dana White

Tuesday's edition of the ESPN show E:60 will feature a portrait of UFC President Dana White, and that has a lot of mixed martial arts fans wondering: Will this be another mainstream media hit piece against MMA?

Renzo Gracie Plans Return to Action

MMA pioneer Renzo Gracie is in the midst of helping Matt Serra prepare for his UFC 98 grudge match with Matt Hughes, but he also has some personal long-term goals in mind. Gracie, who has not fought in over two years, recently told TriStateFighter.com that he plans to return to action in late 2009.

Gracie has not fought since February 2007 in the maiden voyage of EliteXC, and was awarded a victory in the main event after Frank Shamrock was disqualified for delivering an illegal knee while Gracie was grounded.

Gracie has fought just four times in the last five years, and is 13-6 with one draw and one no contest in his career.

Strikeforce All Access: Live MMA Online

Strikeforce will put on its first MMA event of the year Saturday night at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, and the fights will air on Showtime.

But watching on TV isn't the only way to see the fights if you won't be in the arena. It might not even be the best way.

Pat Miletich Will Fight Thomas Denny at December 11 Adrenaline MMA Show

Former UFC welterweight champion Pat Miletich will return to the MMA cage for the first time in more than two years on December 11 when he fights Thomas Denny in Adrenaline's second show on December 11 at the iWireless Center in Moline, Illinois.

As first reported on HDNet's Inside MMA, the 40-year-old Miletich will fight for the first time since losing to Renzo Gracie in September of 2006. Denny last fought in July when he lost to Nick Diaz in an EliteXC bout.

Miletich is well known in MMA circles, but in recent years he's become known more for being a coach and for founding Miletich Fighting Systems than for actually fighting. Miletich hasn't won a fight since he knocked out Shonie Carter in 2001.

Other fighters who will appear on the Adrenaline card include Ben Rothwell and Ryan McGivern.
