UFC 104 Undercard Live Blog: Okami vs. Sonnen, Rivera vs. Kimmons, More

LOS ANGELES -- This is the UFC 104 live blog for the four preliminary bouts of the night's event featuring middleweights Yushin Okami vs. Chael Sonnen, Jorge Rivera vs. Rob Kimmons, heavyweights Stefan Struve vs. Chase Gormley and light heavyweights Kyle Kingsbury vs. Razak Al-Hassan.

The first bout is scheduled to begin at 7:30PM ET. The live blog begins below.

Kyle Kingsbury Talks UFC 104 Bout, Facial Hair and Kimbo Slice on TUF

Kyle Kingsbury knows he faces a must-win situation at UFC 104 against Razak Al-Hassan. The former cast member on the eighth season of The Ultimate Fighter lost his UFC debut to Tom Lawlor in December, and is fully aware that an 0-2 start to his Octagon career would likely mean having to hone his skills elsewhere.

FanHouse spoke to Kingsbury about preparing for Al-Hassan, his impressive looking beard and his thoughts on Kimbo Slice on TUF. Check out the full video interview below.

Fight for the Troops: Good Show, Good Cause, Nasty Endings for Yoshida, Hill, Al-Hassan

The Ultimate Fighting Championship's Fight for the Troops event last night was a good show for a good cause, and the UFC deserves to be commended for putting it on. But it also must be said that the show was marred by nasty endings to three of the 10 fights.

The worst of the three didn't make the TV broadcast. During an undercard fight, Corey Hill kicked Dale Hartt, and when Hill's shin connected, it snapped. It's one of the most horrific injuries I've seen, and I worry that the tall and lanky Hill -- a fighter I've always liked -- may never fight again. UFC.com has the video, but I urge you not to watch it if you're squeamish. It's really disgusting.
