If you had the "under" on whether or not Sven-Goran Eriksson would last a year as head coach of the Mexican national team, you're a winner. The well-traveled Swede was fired Thursday less than 24 hours after El Tri lost to Honduras 3-1 in a World Cup qualifier. Fans were calling for Eriksson's head after the team lost 2-0 to the U.S. back in February -- or even before that as Mexico struggled to even advance for the final CONCACAF qualifying stage -- but Wednesday was apparently the final straw.
