Well, the four Brewers players (J.J. Hardy, Bill Hall, Chris Capuano and Jeff Supan) finally made their appearance on "The Young and the Restless" yesterday afternoon. Truth be told, it really wasn't all that terrible of a performance.

But the lady that comes in near the end, desperately fawning over the players? Same thing happens to me every time I step out my front door. And by "every time I step out my front door" I mean one time when I was giving out free hot dogs and nail polish.

Chris Capuano Drives a Segway

As we anxiously await Chris Capuano's appearance on "The Young and the Restless," let's discuss him rocking out on a Segway, shall we?

Downtown dwellers shouldn't be surprised to see a major-league pitcher zip past them on a Segway. Although the personal scooters are becoming more common in bigger cities, they aren't exactly a fixture in Milwaukee.

"I'm the only one getting yelled at," Capuano said. "People just yell "Segway!" really loud or they'll say "Nerd!" or "Nerd alert!"

"People just don't understand. When I talk to people, I say "If you don't ride one, you don't understand how cool it is."

Ah Chris, you are wise to quote the great Will Smith song "People Just Don't Understand" in response to all the haters. Or was it "Parents Just Don't Understand" Smith sang? I can never remember.
