After a 37-7 drubbing of his
Chiefs on Sunday, running back
Larry Johnson spent post-game energy
focused on his Twitter stream instead of reflecting on the 1-6 start to the season in Kansas City. He called out head coach
Todd Haley in a way most employees don't recover from when speaking poorly of their employers.
"My father played for the coach from "rememeber the titans". Our coach played golf. My father played for redskins briefley. Our coach. Nuthn"
Johnson is obviously upset at how the Chiefs are playing. He may even be upset at the fact that he's not getting enough touches. But, we won't know what's bothering Johnson because not only did he delete his controversial tweets, he also protected his Twitter stream from being viewed unless Johnson gives explicit permission. According to Kent Babb of the
Kansas City Star, he's also not happy with the media asking about his tweets.

Chiefs running back
Larry Johnson had just 16 carries for 49 yards against the
Chargers, and the light workload left him with plenty of energy after the game to fire up his Twitter Machine.
Johnson, clearly unhappy with the team's 1-6 start -- and more specifically, his diminishing role in it -- sounded off about it all via
Twitter. Insanity after the jump:

NFL Coaches Fight Club: the Tournament. Because we have nothing better to do than predict what might happen if head coaches started punching each other in the face.Consider this hypothetical: what if two coaches met in a dark alley and threw down in a no-holds-barred brawl? Who would emerge victorious?
First, some background: back when I was in high school, when my friends and I were pretty creative in finding ways to avoid actually paying attention in class, we'd create brackets (think NCAA Tournament) where we'd pit our teachers against each other**. Whoever we thought would win in a fight advanced to the next round. It always ended with our offensive line coach against our wrestling coach in the finals and a huge argument as to who would come out on top.
Anyway, last week, the Back Porch staff somehow ended up discussing whether Rex Ryan or Tom Cable would win in a old school playground scrap. I passed along the above information, and shortly after that, an idea was born -- NFL Coaches Fight Club: the Tournament.

With less than 30 seconds left in a home tilt against the
Dallas Cowboys, the
Kansas City Chiefs had the opportunity to win their first game of the season -- which would have also been the first win of Todd Haley's head coaching career. After a
Dwayne Bowe touchdown, the
Chiefs trailed by the
Cowboys 20-19 with a conversion on the way. They could have converted a two-pointer and won the game. Instead, they opted to kick the extra point and tie the game.
The Chiefs eventually lost in overtime to the Cowboys, so let the second-guessing begin. Should Haley have gone for the 2-pointer and the victory?

Matt Cassel got his chance to be an NFL starting quarterback when then-Chiefs safety
Bernard Pollard blew up
Tom Brady's knee. Cassel led the Patriots to 11 wins, and played well enough for the Chiefs to trade for him in the offseason.
Smash cut to Cassel tweaking his knee during Kansas City's third preseason game (God's sense of humor is underrated), which forced him to miss the first Sunday of the 2009 season. Any chances the Chiefs -- an outfit that won six times in their last 32 games -- had against the Ravens were out the window with Cassel on the bench.
